Persona 1 - Nendoroid
Persona is a Japanese Role Playing Game (JRPG) developed by Atlus. The series began in 1996 with a PlayStation game titled Revelations: Persona. Since then, multiple more games in the series have been released, including various spin-off games. The series saw a great rise in popularity upon the release of Persona 5 in 2016 (released in 2017 outside of Japan). In total, the series has sold over 11 million copies worldwide and has received various adaptations in different media, including manga volumes and anime series.
Each numbered game in the series follows a new group of high school students who are capable of using Personas, which are manifestations of their inner psyche. The combat relies on a strengths and weaknesses system that allows a character to take multiple actions in one turn by attacking enemies with their corresponding weaknesses. The series also has a strong focus on non-combat gameplay, with the Social Link system being an iconic part of the series. Social Links correspond to different characters in the game, with each having their own arcana, based on the arcana of a tarot card deck. By spending time with these characters, the Social Link level of that arcana can be increased, giving special bonuses.
List of Persona Nendoroids
#989 Joker
This figure features Joker, the protagonist of Persona 5. As is usual for the Persona series, Joker is a mostly silent protagonist, though his conversations can be influenced by the player. In the beginning, he has little influence or power and hides behind a quiet demeanor. However, his allies know his true face of being a playful yet rebellious thief who wishes to change the world by touching the hearts of society.
Since Persona 5 is a game, the character’s dialogue and personality can change depending on what the player chooses. Although he does have many default personality traits where he remains confident in the face of danger. Depending on the player's choice, Joker may have a range of responses from cold and indifferent to playful and cheeky. Joker’s main Persona is Arsene, a Curse element Persona of the Fool Arcana.
