Mayuri Shiina Steins;Gate - Nendoroid
The Steins;Gate franchise first began as a visual novel by 5pb. Games (now Mages Inc.) in 2009 that has since grown into one of the most beloved science fiction series in the anime community. Only two years after the original release of the visual novel, an anime adaptation of Steins;Gate was aired, and it quickly became a classic to many anime fans around the world. With the success of the visual novel and the anime, a wide array of different kinds of merchandise was produced, with figures from Good Smile Company's Nendoroid line being one of the most desired due to its availability, customizability, and reasonable prices. As such, Mayuri Shiina, one of the central characters in Steins;Gate, would receive several Nendoroid releases, including the "Nendoroid Mayuri Shiina" and the "Nendoroid Kurisu Makise & Mayuri Shiina: Cheerful Ver.".

About Mayuri Shiina
Mayuri Shiina is one of Rintaro Okabe's closest friends and the second member of his lab. Much of the story of Steins;Gate surrounds Okabe's attempts to save her from a seemingly inevitable fate.
About Mayuri Shiina: Background
Mayuri and Okabe have been close friends since they were both very young. When she was around eleven years old, her grandmother passed away, which greatly affected her emotionally. In order to pull Mayuri out of her depression, Okabe adopted his outgoing and melodramatic persona, Kyouma Hououin, and claimed that Mayuri was now his "hostage" and unable to leave his side. This seemed to work, as Mayuri returned to her usual happy and caring self. As she grew older, she remained quite childish, innocent, and gullible for her age. This, however, does not stop her from doing whatever she can to help her friends when they are feeling down. She is often seen hanging around Okabe at his lab or working part-time at the May Queen Nyan-Nyan, a nearby maid cafe.
About Mayuri Shiina: Abilities
Although she does not possess anything like Okabe's "Reading Steiner", Mayuri has a very motherly personality that many other characters find calming and reassuring. In addition, Okabe claims that Mayuri is not the smartest person, but is far more perceptive than she seems. As a result, Mayuri can often tell when someone is upset or something is wrong, though she may not be able to understand why. Aside from her motherly nature, Mayuri also has the ability to create cosplay costumes for herself and her friends.
Other Important Steins;Gate Characters
While Rintaro Okabe is certainly an important character to Mayuri due to their long-lasting and close friendship, other characters like Kurisu Makise are also quite dear to her.
Rintaro Okabe
Rintaro Okabe is the main character of Steins;Gate and may be better known by his made-up identity: the self-proclaimed mad scientist, Kyouma Hououin. Okabe has the unique ability to retain all of his memories when worldlines shift, which makes him the only person capable of finding the titular "Steins;Gate", the perfect worldline. Throughout the story of Steins;Gate, Okabe is forced to travel to many different worldlines and witness many tragedies, which takes a drastic toll on him mentally. Despite this, however, Okabe always finds a way to continue struggling to eventually find his way to achieve his goal.
Kurisu Makise
Kurisu Makise is a brilliant neuroscientist who studies her field at Viktor Chondria University in New York. Despite being only 18 years old, scientific journals published her work in neuroscience, making her quite accomplished for her age. Dr. Nakabachi's conference on time travel brought her to Japan, where she meets Okabe and eventually becomes a member of his lab after he reveals their makeshift time machine to her. While she is generally very kind to others, she often takes up a harsh tone toward Okabe because of his eccentric habits and personality. Kurisu does eventually find some things in common with Okabe and warms up to him.
