One Punch Man is a very popular series in the comedy and action genre. It tells the story of a powerful young man called Saitama who is a hero. He fights to save the lives of innocent people as well as enjoy a good fight. However, Saitama has a problem where he is too powerful and is troubled over it. Saitama can defeat all his opponents with just one punch making his fights end very quickly. The comedy mixed with action allowed the franchise to grow with all sorts of products being released such as figures and Nendoroids. The series even released an anime on the 4th of December 2015 allowing it to gain more attraction. Saitama is the protagonist with many products made in his design. One popular product includes the Nendoroid figure called “Nendoroid One-Punch Man Saitama [First Release Ver.]”.

The almighty Saitama joins the Nendoroid line with his cute appearance. Just like the series he wears his yellow outfit with red boots and gloves paired with his white cape. His cape has been sculpted beautifully to make it seem as though it is billowing in the wind.

The Saitama Nendoroid comes with two different face plates, one is his normal relaxed expression and the other is a serious expression he would show during battles. There is also an optional feature such as a supermarket bag to show Saitama's calm daily life.

About Saitama

Saitama is the protagonist of the series and is part of the Hero Association and is the strongest being in the story. His hero name is ‘Caped Baldy’ or ‘Bald Cape’ due to the fact that he has no hair and wears a cape.

About Saitama: Background

Saitama was a man who was looking for a job. He had failed another interview and was stressed out and wanted to give up. Saitama then met a dangerous crab monster who was going around attacking humans. However, the crab monster lets Saitama go due to his similar dead-looking eyes as he was trying to find a young boy. Saitama coincidentally finds the young boy who had pranked the crab monster and decides to save the boy. He fights desperately and defeats the monster to save the boy. Afterward, Saitama started training to become a hero which he started as a hobby.

The Hero Association is made after Saitama saves the young boy as his relative is a very important person and funds the association. Saitama is clueless about everything and continues his hero hobby. Due to Saitama’s overpowered ability, he doesn’t experience any thrill when fighting and becomes very bored. He becomes troubled over his own strength and his emotions start to become dull. Saitama used to feel fear when fighting monsters but now he doesn’t feel anything and searches for strong monsters that can give him a good fight.

After Saitama meets Genos he learns about the Hero Association and joins to become a professional hero. By joining the Hero Association he encounters all sorts of different characters and gains many allies. Although he can’t release all of his powers he is able to fight many different monsters.

Saitama is a very chill and relaxed person. He is always calm when fighting others or when they are angry and shouting insults at him. Although when explanations get long and difficult Saitama gets annoyed and wants to get to the point. He also gets annoyed when humans and monsters don’t follow manners, such as when monsters would destroy his roof to enter his house. Saitama would shout at them and ask why they don’t enter through the door like normal people.

Saitama is extremely powerful and is the strongest being in the One Punch Man series. With basic training like sit-ups, push-ups, and running he was able to gain immense strength. His speed and strength beat any other living creature and his eyesight is perfect as well. Thanks to his overwhelming power, Saitama can defeat all his enemies with just one punch.

Due to the fact he is the most powerful being in the series he often has to help the other heroes without realizing the great achievements he has. Genos is the only disciple of Saitama due to his intense persistence. Saitama thought taking on a disciple was a bother and didn’t have anything to teach him but was persuaded. He is a very serious student and takes Saitama’s every word seriously. Genos strives to become stronger to take revenge for his birthplace that was destroyed by another cyborg.

Tatsumaki

Tatsumaki is a very powerful hero and is S-class rank 2 in the Hero Association. Although she is very stubborn and rude she takes her duties seriously and accepts any requests to defeat monsters. She is a very important character and is reliable when fighting.
