Saitama (Pop! Anime: One Punch Man)

This Funko Pop! figure features Saitama, the protagonist of the story and the most powerful hero in all of existence. Saitama was once a depressed salaryman, but eventually found a passion for fighting. After following his special training regiment, he achieved unbelievable amounts of strength, resulting in Saitama being unable to find any challenge in battles. This chibi recreation of the character has him in his iconic hero outfit, which is a comedically simple yellow suit, matching red boots and gloves, and a white cape. His bald head also accentuates his ears, as there is no hair to cover them up. Saitama’s usual plain, bored expression is also captured in this figure, despite Funko’s rather simple and minimalist style.

It includes many different unique characteristics of the antagonist, like his blue skin and pink hair, as well as his large, singular eye. The figure also has Lord Boros wearing his intricately designed gold armor, which is decorated with red and purple details and a red cape that flows down to his feet. This Lord Boros figure is one of the few Funko Pop! figures that depict eyes in a realistic manner, as Funko Pop! eyes are often simplified as simple black dots

Genos (Pop! Anime: One Punch Man)

This Funko Pop! figure depicts the fan-favorite character Genos, the powerful 19 year old cyborg. The figure depicts Genos with his unique robotic arms, which have a surprising amount of detail and a shiny metallic finish. Other details like Genos’ ear piercings and light blonde hair are also represented. He also wears one of his original outfits, a blue sleeveless shirt and a pair of black pants and matching shoes. Although Genos’ eyes have black sclera and gold irises, this figure simply uses Funko’s standard design for eyes, a pair of large black dots.

About Funko Pop!

Funko is an American merchandise company that specializes in making pop culture collectibles including bobbleheads and vinyl figurines. The company started out by making a piggy bank version of the mascot for Big Boy’s, a Michigan-based restaurant. Although this project was largely a commercial failure, the company did not stop and instead went on to produce an Austin Powers bobblehead that sold an initial 80,000 units and sowed the seeds for the future of Funko. Funko also produces a number of other merchandise items such as plushies, action figures, headphones, and more. The Funko Pop! line is well-known and famous for covering many different pop culture icons such as Ghostbusters, Scooby-Doo, SpongeBob SquarePants, and more. A variety of anime series have also been picked up by Funko and released as part of the Funko Pop! Series. One Punch Man is only one of the many series that have had numerous figures created by the company.
