The success of the manga series Tokyo Ghoul was nearly instantaneous ever since its release in 2011. Later in 2014, the anime adaptation only highlighted the popularity of the series around the world. As the number of Tokyo Ghoul fans grew, a sequel manga series by the original author was created, as were various OVAs, spin-offs, and live-action movies, further confirming the influence Tokyo Ghoul had in the manga and anime community. Many fans love the series for its striking artwork and its dark, complex world and themes. To give the fans what they want, a wide range of merchandise based on the series has been created in a variety of different styles from the manga and anime’s classic dark and dreary tone to a more lighthearted style that showcases the cute sides of the characters. Each character is in a different pose that shows off their own unique personality, giving the cover image and range of dynamic emotions. On the back cover, the logo of the series is printed in grey across the entire cover and is accompanied by splatters of blood. About Tokyo Ghoul

Tokyo Ghoul began as a manga series created by Sui Ishida that was first published in 2011. Later in 2014, an animation produced by the animation studio Pierrot and directed by Shuhei Morita aired between July and September. The story is set in a world where cruel, humanoid creatures called ghouls commit gruesome murder in Tokyo on a daily basis. Ghouls commit these crimes because they can only feed on human flesh, resulting in incredible fear running through the city. The protagonist of the story is a young, shy university student named Kaneki Ken, who finds himself in an accident with a ghoul trying to devour him. Luckily, he survives the incident, but is forced to receive an organ transplant from the ghoul that tried to kill him. The operation kept Kaneki alive, but turned him into a half-ghoul in the process, changing his life forever.
