Death Note is a popular Japanese manga series authored by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. The anime series centers around the character Light Yagami, who finds a magical notebook which contains the power to kill any person as long as they know that person’s name and face. The anime has a large fan base and a lot of merchandise and various products based on the series have been produced over the years. The Pop! Animation Death Note Light is a Funko Pop! figure based on the character and main protagonist of Death Note, Light Yagami. This Funko Pop! features all of the main characteristics that define Light Yagami with his long brown hair and large circular black eyes. Like all Funko Pop! figures, the head of the figure is much larger than the rest of its body. Light Yagami wears his school uniform, which consists of a tan overcoat with two pockets, buttons, and a large collar. Under the tan overcoat, Light wears a long sleeved white colored shirt. The figure also wears a red tie and a pair of dark grey slacks with a classic business style belt around the pants. The figure has black shoes and holds the Death Note in his right hand. A small pyramid shaped nose sticks out from the figure’s face.

Pop! Animation Death Note Ryuk
The Pop! Animation Death Note Ryuk is a Funko Pop! figure that is based on the iconic Shinigami, Ryuk. The Funko Pop! figure has a large head and small body, a common characteristic of the Funko Pop! product line. Around the figure’s waist, there is a sort of short black skirt that is decorated with a silver skull emblem and chains. The figure wears a black, tight suit with silver chains, buckles, straps, and other decorations attached to the clothing. The shoulders are covered with black feathers. Also around the figure’s neck are silver, steel colored specks that seem to make a kind of necklace. This Funko Pop! has a silver bracelet and ring on his right hand. In his left hand, Ryuk holds a bright red apple. Big yellow eyes surrounded by black paint appear under his unique spiked, dark purple hair while a long, creepy appearing smile shows off Ryuk’s sharp, pointed teeth that are outlined by his purple lips.

Pop! Animation Death Note L
The Pop! Animation Death Note L is a Funko Pop! figure based on the popular character L. The figure has a large head compared to the rest of its body, a characteristic of all of the figures from the Funko Pop! product line. The figure depicts L’s messy long black hair realistically with two large black circles appearing where his eyes are and he has a very small pyramid shaped nose. L wears a white long white sleeved shirt and has his hands in the pockets of his blue jeans. The Funko Pop! figure also captures several of L’s unique characteristics, like his pale, grey skin and the heavy bags under his eyes. His posture is also rather relaxed and hunched over, as opposed to standing straight up like Light’s figure. He also wears no shoes or socks, leaving his feet exposed. This Funko Pop! figure would make a great addition to any Death Note fan’s collection.

About The Characters
L is a world famous detective in the Death Note anime and is focused on capturing a mass murderer named Kira in the series. He develops a suspicion about another character named Light Yagami and hopes to prove that Light Yagami is actually Kira. L has black eyes, messy black hair, and is very skinny. Many fans also recognize L for his rather unusually pale skin and heavy, dark bags under his eyes that give him a sickly and exhausted appearance. Ryuk is another character from Death Note and is easily identifiable because of his wild and creepy appearance. Ryuk is a Shinigami, a god or supernatural being inspired by Shinto beliefs and ancient Japanese history. Ryuk accidentally drops a notebook that gives the power of its bearer to kill anyone whose face and name they know. Light Yagami picks up the book and hopes to use it to create a sort of utopia where only those worthy of life can live. Light is the main protagonist of the series and has a bored, yet charismatic personality.
