Sword Art Online - Merchandise
Sword Art Online began as a web light novel released by the creator, Reki Kawahara, on his website in 2002. Since the anime series adaptation was released in 2012, the demand for Sword Art Online merchandise has grown greatly. In 2018, Sword Art Online: Alicization premiered, and the series is expected to continue in 2020. The characters of the series are especially talented in combat, specifically sword fighting. Pikuru! Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale Trading Rubber Strap Box Set
This box set of rubber straps features characters from the Sword Art Online movie, Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale. It includes 10 PVC characters in their outfits from the movie, but are stylized to be more ‘chibi’. This means their heads and facial features are slightly larger, giving them an adorable and soft look. Most of the characters also hold their swords in different stances as well. Some of the characters wear happy and care-free expressions, while a couple of them have more serious and directed gazes. Characters in this set include Kirito, Asuna, Yui, Leafa, Silica, Lisbeth, Sinon, Yuna, and Eiji in their game avatars. The last is a ‘secret’ character, to be revealed after the box set is received. Each character has a ring on top of it, so that it can be tied and attached to anything. This is a great piece of merchandise to own, as it can be attached to a bag, phone case, hung in a window, or even on an article of clothing. Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online Tapestry Collection
This stunning collection of six tapestries feature characters from the spin-off series, Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Alternative. In this virtual reality game, players use guns more often than blades. Each poster features the character Llenn, who is the in-game avatar of Kohiruimaki Karen. Llenn’s entire outfit is made with a soft pink with white stripes. One of her most distinguishable characteristics is her big pink hat with bunny ears. Despite her cute appearance and small stature as an avatar, she can fight fiercely. The six tapestries show Llenn in various stances, such as her kneeling with her gun up in front of her best friend, Fukaziroh. Another shows Llenn going head to head with her rival, Pitohui. About Sword Art Online
Sword Art Online is a series that began as a web-novel published by Reki Kawahara in 2002 and eventually gained enough popularity to get an anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures in 2012, with several additional seasons in the following years. The story is set in the near future and follows Kirito, who joins the titular virtual reality game with 9,999 other players, only to find that the developer has trapped them inside the game until it's dungeons are completely cleared. Any attempts of logging out of the game fail and forcefully ejecting the players from the game will result in death. Furthermore, if a player’s health ever reaches 0 in-game, their real body dies as well. With no other choice, Kirito and the other players are forced to risk their lives to progress further through the game.
