OtapediaOne Punch Man - Merchandise

Starting out as a superhero story webcomic, One Punch Man was first published by the manga artist One in 2009. After going viral and quickly amassing an incredible 7.9 million views, One Punch Man was re-illustrated by Yusuke Murata — of Eyeshield 21 fame — and digitally published on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website in 2012. The series is hugely successful and shows no signs of stopping, with 20 tankobon volumes released and two seasons of an anime adaptation produced to date. The anime first aired in Japan between 2015 and 2016 and was developed by animation studio Madhouse with Shingo Natsume acting as director. The anime was highly praised for its intricate animation quality and stylish design. The demand for a second series was overwhelming, as fans simply couldn't get enough of the tireless superhero. As such, a second season was aired in 2019, this time animated by J.C. Staff with Chikara Sakurai as the director. A video game was released to fairly positive reviews in February 2020 and, with such an incredible cliffhanger ending to the anime's second season, there is high hope for a third in the near future. In addition to the media popularity, One Punch man merchandise is also highly sought out after by fans such as figures, Funko Pop, t-shirts and toys. Here are three examples of popular items such as “One Punch Man Mascot Plush Collection”, “One Punch Man Saitama Beanbag” and “One Punch Man 8" Genos Plush”.

One Punch Man Mascot Plush Collection

These small, soft plushies are adorable and super cute. This collection features four of the strongest and fastest characters in the series, or at least the most popular and well-received. On the side of good is, of course, Saitama with his yellow suit and matching red gloves and boots. Genos also appears in his usual black tank top with metal cyborg arms on full display. The bad guys include Sonic, the self-proclaimed fastest being alive and Garou, the human-monster. These plushies also come with a ball chain for attaching them to things like bags, phones, and etc.

One Punch Man Saitama Beanbag

Has there ever been a simpler yet iconic face? Saitama is highly lauded to heroes in the know and regarded as something of a joke by the rest. Almost every monster and enemy in the show underestimates Saitama, only to become a mess of red and pieces the very next moment. But with the gore aside, Saitama’s cuter side is revealed here with this soft and cuddly bean bag. Due to its decent size, it may have potential use as a pillow, as a comforter, or even as a decoration. There is never a reason to not have a big bean bag of Saitama’s head.

One Punch Man 8" Genos Plush

Genos begged the scientist to turn him into a cyborg so that he can fight for justice and eventually find and destroy the cyborg that ruined his family and home. Genos is an S rank hero and is among the strongest heroes in the series. He often receives power-ups after big fights, but still seems to lose fairly frequently. He understands Saitama’s power and has dedicated himself to being Saitama’s apprentice, keeping a detailed notebook about him in order to learn the secrets of his strength.

About One-Punch Man

In a world where monsters appear from the depths, skies, and space to conquer Earth and annihilate humankind, an organization of heroes stands up and fights. The Hero Organization, with its various ranks of heroes from rank C all the way to rank S, do their best to stop the monsters in their tracks. Most of these heroes are professional heroes, so defeating monsters is their duty, but Saitama is different. While Saitama is undoubtedly the strongest and fastest hero of all time, his only drive is to be a hero and find a monster worthy of fighting; a monster that will truly challenge his abilities and test his limits. There is only one problem that constantly seems to get in the way of achieving his dream - he kills everything with a single punch. Having gone through a grueling training regimen of 100 sit-ups, 100 push-ups, 100 squats, and running 10 kilometers every single day, Saitama achieved god-like strength. Stunned and in absolute awe at Saitama’s immense power and speed, Genos, the 19 year old cyborg hero, decides he must become Saitama’s apprentice. Saitama reluctantly agrees and the two spend most of their time together when not fighting monsters or receiving upgrades. Usually, Genos is seen doing the chores in Satiama’s home and Saitama can be seen often playing video games.
