Black Butler - Merchandise
Black Butler is a dark-fantasy manga and anime multimedia series that has formed a surprisingly large cult-like fan base over the past 15 years or so. The manga alone has sold over 26.6 million copies worldwide. A number of anime series adapting the storyline have been produced, as have films and CDs. An annual competition asking which anime character people wished they could marry the most revealed the Demon Butler Sebastian Michaelis to be in the top ten. Although the series itself lacks a lot of the fan collectible merchandise such as figures and toys, in comparison to other titles, there have been a number of daily usable goods stylized and themed with Black Butler images, logos, and designs to satisfy the demands of the fan base. These goods include clothing, accessories and stationary goods to name a few.
Black Butler Sebastian Pocket Watch
This fully functional pocket watch made by Great Eastern Entertainment recreates the stylish watch of the demonic butler, Sebastian. The watch exudes the atmosphere of the 1800s with its intricate aristocratic design. The design itself features a shield, a crown, rose vines. Although this design is quite detailed, it is available for a fairly reasonable price.
The high-class design on the outside is complemented by replacing the regular Arabic numbers with Roman numerals to create a piece of merchandise that is stylish both on the inside and the outside. Although this watch is a great way for some fans to show off their love of the Black Butler series while also adding a dimension of aristocracy to their modern, everyday lives, this watch is also battery powered, making it easy to use.

Black Butler 2 Sebastian & Ciel Leather Wristband
To fill the fans’ demand for wristbands inspired by the Black Butler series, Great Eastern Entertainment created this bold leather wristband with a panel of art from the anime series in the center of the band. It is mainly colored with black and blue and can fit a Goth, metal-head, or punk style with the right coordination. A series of adjustable snaps along the sides of the band also allow its user to adjust the size of the wristband, making it one size fits all.

Black Butler 2 Grell Wristband
This synthetic fabric wristband is decorated in an antagonistic red and black design, attempting to embody the dark fantasy theme of Black Butler. The center design features an embroidered black and white image of Grell Sutcliff, the Grim Reaper. They can be seen looking cute with a slightly devilish smile and a tail that is curled up and around their back. Their name is also embroidered off to the side of the character. This wristband is one of several made by Great Eastern Entertainment. There are three in total and each band features a different character.

About Black Butler
Black Butler is a dark fantasy and thriller manga series by Yana Toboso, which debuted in 2006 and was later adapted into an anime series in 2008. It is set in London during the late 1800s and follows the life of a 13 year old boy named Ciel Phantomhive, who is a member of an aristocratic family named Phantomhive. One night, he discovers his house had been burned to the ground and his family and pet dog had been murdered.
He is then captured by the same people who murdered his family and sold into slavery to a demon worshipping cult, where he is then tortured and forced to undergo demonic rituals where he is branded with the mark of the beast. During a sacrificial ceremony one night, the cult summons a demon whom they wanted to have in their service. However, the demon insists that he is only the servant of the boy Ciel and proceeds to kill all of the cult members present at the ceremony.
Ciel forms an agreement with the demon to help him take total revenge on those that destroyed his family. As a part of the agreement, the demon asserts that he will help him, but he gets to consume the boy’s soul once revenge has been completed. The Demon puts his own mark on the boy near his right eye, which gives testament to this agreement. Ciel then names the demon Sebastian Michaelis, which was the name of his pet dog. The demon then takes the place of Ciel’s father as the Queen's watchdog and has the job of investigating cases that are considered threatening to England.
