About Yuri!!! on Ice

Yuri!!! on Ice is a Japanese anime series produced by MAPPA, directed by Sayo Yamamoto, and broadcasted on TV Asahi, BS Asahi, STS, NCC, Sun TV and AT-X between October and December 2016. Yuri Katsuki is a figure skater who, assuming the expectations of all Japan, experienced a crushing defeat in the Grand Prix final. After this, he returns to his hometown in Kyushuu. His feelings are torn between continuing to skate or quitting. Suddenly, Victor Nikiforov, a famous Russian skater whom Yuri admires, shows up one day at his house. Firmly convinced of Yuri’s talent, he decides to be his coach. Together, they compete in some of the most difficult competitions and follow their dreams.
