Hange Zoë Attack on Titan - Nendoroid

The anime of Attack on Titan was released in 2013 on the 7th of April and gained great popularity with its release. Many characters appear throughout this series and one of the most unique characters would have to be Hange Zoë who is a part of the survey corps and is the captain of her own squad. Hange is different from the others where she acts quite happy and excited to see the titans instead of being scared or angry. Hange is a popular character making companies release a Nendoroid figure called the “Nendoroid Attack on Titan Hange Zoë”. This figure shown below shows Hange in her cute and quirky self in a cute chibi-fied version.

The Nendoroid of Hange shows her wearing her usual yellow shirt with the survey corps brown jacket uniform with the logo on the shoulders and the left chest. Like all the other members she wears grey pants and boots with harnesses to be able to wear the 3D maneuvering gear. Her gear is detachable allowing for poses when she has dual-wielded blades or in a casual situation. Her green cape is also detachable and sculpted to seem as though the cape is moving in the wind. This figure also comes with other accessories such as her normal glasses or you can make her wear the goggles which she uses when using her 3D maneuvering gear so her glasses don't fall off. She also comes with a note pad which she uses to write down her observations of the titans. Hange also has many facial expressions such as her usually happy face where she is smiling her mouth open and her eyes sparkling, another expression is where her mouth is also open but she is drooling with the exciting thought that she could experiment with the titans, the last expression shows off her cool side as she grins with her teeth together and her eyes are slightly slanted as though she is aiming for her prey. This Nendoroid has many different variations that can be put together to enjoy all sorts of poses from different scenes throughout the series.

About Hange Zoë

Hange is an important character to the series as she also helps uncover secrets of the titans as well as the secrets the royals in the castle keep. She acts quite friendly and kind towards everyone however she has times when she knows when to act mean in order to get what she wants.

About Hange Zoë: Background

Hange like the others had great feelings of hate and anger towards the titans as they had killed many of her comrades. However, after a while, she realizes although the titans may look like humans their structure is completely different. Her hate turns into interest causing her to have an intense obsession with the titans trying to figure out what secrets their bodies may hold. She is seen many times saying she can’t wait to meet the titans and frequently asks to take one back so she can experiment on them.

About Hange Zoë: Abilities

Hange has also graduated from the cadet training to become a survey corps member and since she was made captain of a squad it is inferred that she has skills with the 3D maneuvering gear as she has continued to stay alive when encountering titans. She is also a character portrayed as brains rather than brawn.

Other Important Attack on Titan Characters

Hange is quite close with Levi Ackerman and they both trust each other as comrades although Levi might treat her quite roughly. As Levi is the stoic kind of character he doesn’t tolerate the frivolous actions that Hange does towards the titans as well as her everyday attitude but he does respect her abilities. Due to her obsession with titans, Hange is greatly interested in Eren Yeager when she learns of his ability to shift into a titan. She is able to conduct all sorts of experiments she wants with the titan version of Eren almost treating him as a test subject.

Levi Ackerman

Levi Ackerman and Hange are both captains of their own squads and trust each other with sharing information and discussing future plans. As Hange acts bizarrely most times Levi would constantly be ignoring her weird comments or would rudely brush her off. Although he treats her this way when they are having a serious conversation he listens to her advice and trusts her decisions. When the two of them have a hard time contacting their leader Erwin Smith they rely on each other and make the choices they think are the best in the situation.

Eren Yeager

Eren Yeager is the main character in the Attack on Titan series and is able to change into a titan. Due to Hange having a big interest in titans she is immensely interested in Eren as he can shift into a titan. Eren is at first treated similar to a test subject by Hange making him transform until he is exhausted but later you can see the members trust him and treat him as one of them. As Hange is superior to him he listens to her orders and trusts her decisions however when it comes to her stories of titans he knows to ignore her and leave and learned the hard way.
