About Connor

Connor is an RK800 Android and is one of the protagonists in Detroit: Become Human. He has been assigned to work with Lieutenant Hank Anderson and throughout the story of the game, makes discoveries about cases and details about himself. The more information that Connor collects within an allotted time throughout the gameplay, the higher chance of success when the player decides a course of action.

About Connor: Background

Connor is a police investigator android who must hunt down the android that has deterred from their programmed actions. Connor is released as a CyberLife RK-series prototype, model RK800. He starts as a neutral character and depending on the choices made by the player, his core personality alters throughout gameplay.

Connor has been depicted to be sarcastic and despite being depicted as sociable and an android that works well with humans, he finds it difficult to put this into practice and leads to many awkward moments. Throughout the game, players will see moments of compassion from him despite his original settings. Despite his mission to kill other androids, he has been seen to show compassion and is unable to kill others. If choices are made so that he stays on task, this will result in a personality of Connor that is cold and is only set on completing the goals tasks and will betray and kill his own people if the situation arises. These small moments will affect Connor's personality overall.

About Connor: Abilities

Due to being a police investigator android, he has many abilities which can aid him in his cases. He has the ability to scan and analyze a scene and then from this information is able to reconstruct the analyzed sample. He is also able to analyze biological samples by “tasting” them. This is crucial to the investigation and leads to many important clues being found.

Connor also has a mode that lets him integrate and adapts to humans easily and is able to work in a team. Connor has been crafted so that he can analyze the interactions of all beings (humans and androids) and using this information is able to predict and manipulate the behavior of others. This also makes him useful as a negotiator and interrogator in the game.

Despite previous androids being unable to use any violence or unable to use any weapons, Connor has been programmed to carry out unarmed combat and is able to use weapons. He is very athletic and is able to easily fight and disarm opponents.

Other Important Detroit: Become Human Characters

Connor is heavily supported by multiple characters throughout the game. In particular, he has a close relationship with the characters, Hank Anderson and Amanda.

Hank Anderson

Connor and Hank Anderson are tasked to work together and his relationship with Connor is very vital to the game. Connor's growth as a character and in combat heavily relies on Hank. The two are very contrasting, with Hank being the more crazy one compared to Connor's stable, very straightforward thinking. Their relationship serves as the foundation for both the character's growth and the paths they take to alter the final outcome the game reaches.

Amanda

Amanda is Connor's supervisor and despite Connor's attitude towards Amanda altering depending on the player's choice, Amanda's attitude towards Connor does not change. Connor mostly views Amanda as a mentor figure and goes to huge lengths to obtain her approval. On the contrary, Amanda is seen to be disapproving and disregards Connor and usually leads to a set conclusion formed by Amanda.
