The story is about spirits that appear and cause chaos in the human world and the young man who has the power to seal the spirits. One of the spirits that appear in the series is a young-looking girl called Yoshino Himekawa. She is a quiet girl who appears to be much younger than her actual age. She is a popular character due to her innocent appearance and pure thinking. As a popular character, there has been a variety of merchandise released of her design. One of the popular items is the “Nendoroid Date A Live Yoshino (Re-run)”. Yoshino is already known as a very adorable character with a cute childish appearance but can also cause devastating attacks. The gap caused her to gain even more fans and popularity.

Enjoy the adorable figure of Yoshino in her spirit form with her astral dress 'El' who can use the powers of ice and water. Her outfit is a white summer dress and overtop she wears a green jacket with a hood. The jacket is lined with white and a band going across. Her sleeves are long and cover her hand to show a cute oversized look. Her green rain boots match with her outfit and are completed with white bows on them. Her hood has the characteristic large bunny-shaped ears with pink buttons and stitching marks. Her green jacket can be taken off to show her simple white one-piece with frills like what she would wear in her normal human form. Her blue hair is long and wavy and comes in front of her face to be able to be seen poking out of her hood. Yoshino also comes with three different expressions. One is her normal face that shows her bright blue eyes and her mouth being very small to make it seem like she is slightly curious. The second expression shows Yoshino with her mouth wide open and tears gathering at the corner of her eyes as she looks to be sad and scared. The last face shows an embarrassed expression where her eyes are simplified circles and her cheeks are blushing. The Yoshino Nendoroid also comes with extra optional parts like her puppet Yoshinon. The white rabbit puppet can be fitted onto her hand and it is something that Yoshino depends on. There is also a very small snow rabbit-sized version of Zadkiel, her angel.

About Yoshino Himekawa

Yoshino is a very gentle character and even when she is attacked she doesn’t fight back and instead keeps running away. Yoshino is a very kind spirit because she doesn't want anyone to get hurt, even when the Anti-SPirit Team (AST) were attacking her with the intent to kill Yoshino would only use her powers to defend herself. Due to her not interacting with anybody and the only human interaction she had was the AST attacking her she withdrew into herself and didn’t talk. Instead, she uses her rabbit puppet called Yoshinon to speak for her and create another personality. Yoshino relies heavily on her puppet for mental support causing an unhealthy situation for herself.

Yoshino has the power to manipulate different forms of water. When she appeared whether she wanted to or not it would always be raining to show her loneliness. Her powers are affected greatly by her emotions and as she was always sad and lonely it would be constantly raining until she meets Shido Itsuka, the protagonist.

About Yoshino Himekawa: Abilities

Yoshino has the power of the angel Zadkiel and the astral dress El. Her angel Zadkiel appears as a huge puppet that resembles her rabbit puppet Yoshinon. Zadkiel has the power to absorb the water on the ground and in the air to use for attacks. She can shoot bullets made of ice as well as cause blizzards. She is also able to construct armor made of ice and in this form, her power grows even more and causes her surroundings to freeze.

Yoshino is a very quiet character and doesn’t interact much. She is very grateful towards Shido, who is the one who saved her and sealed her spirit powers allowing her to live as a normal human. Since she doesn’t know the other spirits that well she is slightly scared of Kurumi Tokisaki, someone who Shido hadn’t sealed the power of.

As Yoshino doesn't interact much with the other characters when she first sees Kurumi Tokisaki she is scared that she is another rival to her love with Shido. Due to her quiet nature, she is quite scared of her forceful nature and assertive personality.

Shido Itsuka

Yoshino fell in love with Shido as he was the one who saved her from her loneliness and sadness. When she was all alone Shido appeared and helped her and protected her. At first, Shido thought she was a lost child but after finding out she was a spirit that didn’t want to hurt others he knew she was kind hearted and wished to help her.
