About Wraith

Wraith is a fighter that possesses the ability to attack and manipulate spacetime. Additionally, she is valuable in combat due to her ability to reposition and flank enemies.

About Wraith: Background

Wraith’s real name is Renee Blasey. She one day wakes up in an IMC Detention Facility for the Mentally Ill, with no recollection of her previous life. She also starts hearing a voice inside her head that would keep her awake. This almost drove Wraith to the point of insanity.

One day she meets an alternate version of her who opens a portal to where she is. She finds out that the alternative version of herself is on a quest to find out what happened to her. With her help, Wraith can trust the voices in her head and can safely manipulate the void.

She is able to portal to escape the facility and arrives at the Kings Canyon (where the Apex Games are to be held). Wraith ultimately decides to join the Apex Games to access the old research facilities buried underneath the Apex Games arena. She quests to find out the experiments done on herself and uncover who she is. Due to her experience at the facility and traveling through countless dimensions, she has seen many disturbing scenes, leading to her jaded personality being born.

About Wraith: Abilities

Like other Apex Legends characters, she has three types of abilities: tactical, passive, and ultimate. Her tactical ability is called “Into the Void.” This ability allows her to move using the void space for 4 seconds, and by using the void space, she is unable to receive any damage. Entering the void also allows her to gain a 30% speed boost. However, she does leave a wispy blue trail indicating the path Wraith takes.

Her passive ability allows her to hear voices from the void. These voices warn Wraith when danger approaches. For example, the voice will tell Wraith when an enemy is aiming, a sniper rifle aiming, traps close by, any enemies nearby, and how many people have died close by.

Wraith is also able to create a Dimensional Rift. This allows Wraith to place a portal at two locations, connecting the two portals and allowing movement between the two entry points. The portal lasts for 60 seconds. This is a powerful and valuable ability to have when fighting people in close range or deciding to approach a team head-on.

Other Important Apex Legends Characters

You will find that Apex Legends is known for its unique characters. Some of the most popular characters in the game are Mirage and Pathfinder, who are also known to be Wraith's friends, and the other is Lifeline, who is the polar opposite of Wraith.

Lifeline

Lifeline is a medic who has dedicated her life to helping others. Lifeline and Wraith stand on opposite sides of the spectrum with Lifeline’s sarcastic personality, while Wraith has a dull and cynical character. The contrast between the two is also seen in their abilities. Lifeline is centered around others while Wraith would be on the frontline taking the lead.

Mirage

Mirage, like Wraith, is an offensive type of character who can confuse and distract his enemies. He can deploy a holographic decoy of himself or decoys that mirror his movements. Moreover, he is a friend of Wraith. Their friendship formed when Wraith saved Mirage from Caustic, and in return, Mirage saved Wraith from Bangalore. Ever since the two have had a strong friendship.

Pathfinder

Pathfinder is known to be very friendly towards everyone. He is a recon legend and is very useful when moving and is a key support character. He is known to be a close friend of Mirage and through him is also a close friend of Wraith. We often see Pathfinder supporting and teaming up with Wraith, showing the strong friendship between the two.
