Light Yagami Death Note - Nendoroid

Death Note is a super popular series and the anime was first released on the 3rd of October, 2006. It has had many movies and remakes released allowing the franchise to grow. The Death Note series is super popular due to its unique detective genre. The fans already know who the culprit is from the start but they follow the mind games between the two good and bad sides. Light Yagami is the main character of the series and has gained many fans due to his charisma, good looks, and high intelligence. Light is known as Kira, a mass murderer who kills convicts with a special note that kills people just by writing their names down. He is a popular character and has many products made of him such as the “Nendoroid Death Note Light Yagami 2.0”. This Light Nendoroid allows the fans to enjoy a softer and cuter version of the usually serious character. The Death Note series has a dark genre and the Nendoroid allows for a different view of Light.

Nendoroid Death Note Light Yagami 2.0

The Light Nendoroid shows Light in his high school uniform. Which is a white button-up shirt with a red necktie. On top of his shirt, he wears a tan-colored blazer with black buttons. He also wears grey pants and black shoes. Light comes with three different facial expressions. One is his standard face where he looks forward and his mouth is neither smiling nor frowning. The second expression shows Light with a nervous face. His mouth is slightly opened and there are lines under his eyes to show him being under stress. There is also one sweat mark on the side of his cheek to show he really is nervous and doesn't know if his plan is working or not. The last expression shows Light with a very evil expression. His eyebrows are quite furrowed and his usually rounded eyes are quite slanted as though he was thinking about evil schemes. Lastly, his mouth is pulled to the side as a smirk showing the dark side of Light that he usually hides. There are also extra optional parts to allow for a wide variety of poses to recreate the fan’s favorite scenes. The Nendoroid Light comes with his death note he picked up from the ground, a fountain pen so he can write names into his book, A red apple to feed his hungry death god Ryuk, and a golden scythe that is often seen on the covers of the mangas.

About Light Yagami

Light is a smart young man who grew up in an average household. His father was a police officer leading to Light having a sense of justice that was stronger than most. However, Light was such an intelligent man that he grew bored of everyday life and the death note brought him the stimulation that he needed. This caused him to have a slight god complex and he began to kill off all the humans he thought were unneeded.

About Light Yagami: Background

Light is a genius but he wasn’t stimulated by his everyday life. He had a father who worked in the police department and focused mostly on his work and his mother was an average housewife. He also had a younger sister that was like any other and liked pop stars. Even though he was brought up normally, it was mostly Light just acting out the role of a model son.

About Light Yagami: Abilities

Light is very smart and is able to consistently score top scores on his tests, he was even able to ace the test for his university entrance. He is also able to come up with all sorts of plans and tactics to figure out his enemy’s names and kill them. Light also has sufficient hacking skills to be able to hack into his dad’s computer to gain information.

Other Important Death Note Characters

Light interacts with many of the characters in the series but the main characters would be L and Ryuk. L is the detective of the series and is the one who is trying to find out Kira’s real identity, which is Light. He approaches Lighty assertively in order to find out his true identity. Ryuk and Light are generally always together since Light carries Ryuk’s death note. Light also often converses with Ryuk and tells him about his plans.

L Lawliet

L is a friend yet also at the same time an enemy of Light. He is a highly intelligent detective and thinks of most of his cases as riddles to solve. Light is someone who holds the same amount of intelligence as him and they are both very similar characters. L suspects Light the most but cannot prove it through normal means and tries to get closer to him. If the two didn’t have the relationship of suspect and detective then the two would have been really good friends.

Ryuk

Ryuk is a very bored death god who dropped his death note into the human world to be able to experience something fun. The actions Light takes with his death note are very entertaining for Ryuk so at times he does act in a way that is useful for Light but in the end, he remains neutral. However, he would do favors for Light sometimes in exchange for apples.
