Sabito Demon Slayer - Nendoroid

Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) is a widely popular series that started off as a manga that was first released on the 15th of February, 2016, and written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The story follows a young boy whose family was killed by demons and picks up the sword in order to protect his younger sister who was turned into a demon. Many characters appear in the series and one of the popular characters is Sabito. He is portrayed as a mysterious yet strong character that the protagonist must overcome to continue on his journey. As Demon Slayer is such a big franchise there have been many products released. One of the popular products would be the Sabito Nendoroid which is called the “Nendoroid Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Sabito”.

Nendoroid Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Sabito

From the popular series, Demon Slayer is the Sabito Nendoroid. Enjoy the Sabito figure as he wears a vibrantly patterned kimono with the colors green, orange, and yellow. On top of his kimono is a white haori that reaches his black pants. He has leg wraps the same pattern as his kimono and he wears sandals with a red strap. His peach-colored hair comes down to his shoulders and has been recreated perfectly from the series. The Sabito Nendoroid also comes with two different faceplates to enjoy a larger variety of poses and scenes. The first expression shows Sabito with a smiling yet sorrowful face. It is similar to the expression Sabito had when Tanjiro finally beat him. His lavender eyes look kindly yet also sad at the same time. His mouth is in a slight smile as though he was happy and relieved but also worried. The second expression shows Sabito with a serious expression. His eyes are focused and his mouth is slightly frowning. The Sabito Nendoroid also comes with various optional parts such as his sword that can be pulled out of the shelf to show his blade. It also comes with his training wooden sword that Sabito uses when training Tanjiro. Sabito also comes with his large fox mask that he is usually seen wearing. It is a large white fox mask that has a frowning expression and a scar mark on its cheek to match the scar on Sabito's actual face.

About Sabito

Sabito is someone with a strong sense of justice. He wanted to save everyone from the demons and during the final selection, he goes around killing all the demons so the other participants won’t get hurt. However, in the end from exhaustion, he sacrifices himself to save others and ends up getting killed by a strong demon. Sabito can be kind yet also quite aggressive. When he is trying to help Tanjiro he thoroughly scolds Tanjiro and beats him up to show the difference in his skills but also encourages him to work harder and understand.

About Sabito: Background

Sabito was a young orphan who was taken in by Sakonji Urokodaki who is a master of the water breathing technique. Sabito was taught how to use and master the water breathing technique and entered into the final selection to become a demon slayer. Sabito wished to save everyone from the dangers of the demon and tried to kill all the demons trapped in the area. Unfortunately after trying to save Giyuu Tomioka, he ends up dying due to the strong hand demon that was targetting Sakonji’s students.

About Sabito: Abilities

Sabito was trained on how to use the water breathing technique and gained enough strength to receive permission from his master to enter into the final selection. He had enough skill to kill most of the demons within the final selection but unfortunately didn’t have enough strength and endurance to kill the strongest demon.

Other Important Demon Slayer Characters

Sabito appears near the start of the series and trains the protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, with a fellow student Makomo. Sabito and Makomo hold a relationship of trust as they were both fellow students of Sakonji even though they weren’t alive at the same period of time. Sabito is an important character for Tanjiro as he is someone who allows Tanjiro to grow as a person as well as grow his strength.

Tanjiro Kamado

Sabito aggressively trains Tanjiro Kamado and berates him on how he merely repeats the training taught by Sakonji while his body doesn’t fully understand what to do. He is someone who teaches Tanjiro how to grow stronger and acts as Tanjiro’s first barrier before he can become a fully-fledged demon slayer.

Makomo

Makomo and Sabito work together to teach and guide Tanjiro on how to use the water breathing technique. Although the two have not met while they were still alive they both think of their master very dearly and cared about him so much that their souls stayed in Sagiri mountain with their master.
