Mitsuri Kanroji Demon Slayer - Figures

Demon Slayer is a manga series that first began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2016. It quickly garnered the attention of many readers until it eventually received an anime adaption that was produced by Ufotable in 2019. In response to the incredible praise and demand from fans, manufacturers created quite a selection of merchandise for fans to add to their collections. While much of this merchandise is inspired by the main characters, secondary characters have quite a selection to choose from as well. One such character is Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira (also known as the Love Pillar) of the Demon Slayers. Several figures of Mitsuri have been produced, but some of the most popular figures include the “Figuarts Mini Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mitsuri Kanroji”, the “Demon Slayer” Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro & The Hashira Mascot A & B Box Set w/ Bonus”, and the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Figure Collection Vol. 13”.

Figuarts Mini Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mitsuri Kanroji Figure

This adorable figure of Mitsuri is a part of Bandai’s Figuarts Mini series, a line of figures that takes many popular characters and gives them a chibi-style twist. Although the figure has a fairly neutral standing pose, there are several points of articulation in her arms and neck that allow its owner to change up the pose a bit. Her arms can be brought up to her head, which can also be slightly tilted to the side, giving the figure an even cuter pose. This figure also has Mitsuri in her classic Demon Slayer outfit. This outfit is made up of the skirt version of the black and white Demon Slayer uniform with the chest area left unbuttoned and partially covered with a solid white haori. The lime green socks and pink sandals that cover her legs also match with her general color scheme. This figure also comes with extra arm parts and a stand for even more customizability.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro & The Hashira Mascot A & B Box Set w/ Bonus

This box set includes all nine of the Demon Slayer Hashira and the protagonist of the series, Tanjiro Kamado. Like the previous figure of Mitsuri, each one of these figures has a very chibi-style design, which helps emphasize Mitsuri’s cute features even more. Since this figure features no articulation, more attention is given to the pose of the figure, which shows Mitsuri with a bright, happy smile and her hands brought up to her chin. Although each figure only measures around 2 inches tall, this box set is great for those who want a small figure of Mitsuri, but don’t want her to be alone in their collection.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Figure Collection Vol. 13

This collection of two figures includes Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji, though each figure can be purchased individually. Although they are not quite to scale, this figure of Mitsuri is much closer to how she appears in the original series compared to the previous items. She is posed standing meekly with her hands held in front of her. This figure also has the benefit of a larger size as well. It measures 6.3 inches tall, which allows for much more potential details like those found in Mitsuri’s unique pink and lime green braided hair and her heart-themed Nichirin Blade. The rather modest price also lets fans add it to their collection without worrying about emptying their wallet out.

About Mitsuri Kanroji

Mitsuri Kanroji is a secondary character from the Demon Slayer series and is one of the nine Hashira (also known as Pillars) of the Demon Slayers. Many view Mitsuri as kind and caring, though she is also prone to getting upset easily. From a young age, Mitsuri’s parents and siblings noticed that she had an unusual amount of strength, a trait born from her similarly unusual muscle structure. Although many saw her as a monster because of her freakish strength, Mitsuri eventually found a way to use her unique strength and flexibility to her advantage with the invention of Love Breathing.

Other Important Demon Slayer Characters

As a secondary character, Mitsuri may not have as many interactions with other characters as others like Tanjiro, but she certainly has a few other notable relationships with others, particularly with the Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro. Obanai admits to being in love with Mitsuri, though he never tells her outright. That said, the pair make quite a formidable team in battle. The Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, was also originally Mitsuri’s mentor and taught her the Flame Breathing technique, which she adapted into her own style to better fit her unique body structure.
