My Hero Academia is a smash hit anime and manga series in Japan and overseas. Achieving massive levels of success with the first chapter published in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014 and still running, My Hero Academia has cracked the Oricon manga chart a number of times. The first volume alone reached 7th place with a staggering 71,575 copies sold. Quickly following up on the success of the first volume, volume managed to outsell its volume one by 95,956 copies and reached a total of 205,179 copies sold by January 2015. The fever continued to grow though as by March 2017 there were over 10 million copies in circulation, growing to 26 million by December 2019 just two years later. ArtFX J My Hero Academia All Might Figure

My Hero Academia All Might: Silver Age Action Figure

All Might is known for his simple but vibrant hero uniform. It wasn’t always that way, the movie Two Heroes showcased a number of All Might’s former costumes. Named after the western convention of naming comics ‘bronze age’, ‘silver age’ and so on, so did author Kohei Horikoshi name his alternative costumes. This is All Might’s third ‘silver age’ costume. A nod towards the costume he would finally settle on as his final ‘golden age’ costume, this one features almost identical leg colors and golden bracers. The differences being the red upper body with a white symbol design and a long blue cape attached at the shoulder. Two articulated arms allow for the classic fist in the air pose that makes All Might such a cool character.

Nendoroid My Hero Academia All Might Figure

Nendoroid is a brand of figures developed and manufactured by the Japanese company, ‘Good Smile Company’ starting in 2006. The design is very similar to the SD (super-deformed) adaptation that many popular anime and manga eventually receive. In his classic hero costume and articulated for basic poses, Nendoroid All Might is less the symbol of peace, and more a symbol of cute. 110mm (4.3”) tall to the top of the head and an extra 10mm for his upright bangs.

About All Might

All Might is the most devastating, selfless, and smiley hero in the whole of the My Hero Academia universe. According to various official sources, his performance statistics are 6/5 for all criteria (power, speed, intelligence, etc). All Might serves as the world’s symbol of peace. While he is working as a hero, occurrences of crime are usually infrequent and sporadic with All Might typically defeating the villain within moments of arriving. In-universe All Might is the most popular hero around. The main character Izuku Midoriya (Deku), being a huge fan of his, has all kinds of merchandise lining the walls of his room, from posters to figures, and even bedsheets. As strong as he is though, he wasn’t born with superpowers but instead received them passed on from someone else. This character is popular with fans for his unbending will and seemingly unlimited positivity. It’s only when he reverts to his civilian form that we see the real and vulnerable side of All Might; making the character accessible as a human and bringing him down to a level with which the audience can relate.

All Might is linked to Izuku Midoriya (Deku) by the quirk that he passed on to him, ‘One for All’. The only quirk that is known to be transferable by the will of the user. Due to this, All Might acts as a mentor and oftentimes not unlike a father figure to the young Midoriya. Before retirement All Might found himself working as a member of the UA faculty as a teacher and counselor for the hero school students. All Might has worked with a number of sidekicks and has ties with the whole UA including faculty and students.
