Yunyun Konosuba - Figures

Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! (often abbreviated to Konosuba) is a comedic fantasy series that first got its start as a novel series published on the internet in 2012, but was later published by Kadokawa the following year. The series quickly grew in popularity and eventually received an anime adaptation that was produced by Studio Deen in early 2016. A second season and a film were later produced following the first season. One of the characters from this series is Yunyun, the self-proclaimed rival of Megumin. KonoSuba 2 Yunyun 1/8 Scale Figure

This figure showcases the sweet and charming side of Yunyun and has her posed leaning forward with her hands pressed together gingerly above her chest. Her head is tilted to the side as she smiles shyly. This figure also captures many other distinct features of Yunyun’s standard design, like her classic Crimson Demon outfit. This outfit consists of a black blouse, a pink tie, and a rather short pink and white skirt that is accompanied by tall boots, red thigh-high socks, and red bows used to tie her twin tails. KonoSuba the Movie: Legend of Crimson Yunyun: Swimsuit Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure

While Yunyun is most often seen wearing her regular Crimson Demon garb, this figure changes things up by putting her in a rather revealing two-piece swimsuit. As if to showcase her timid nature, Yunyun is posed standing hesitantly with one of her hands in front of her chest. Her expression is also fairly flustered, likely hinting that she isn’t too happy about the situation at hand. The swimsuit itself is a lovely shade of pink that matches well with the red bowties in her hair. A short transparent skirt also lines the bottom piece of the swimsuit. The ribbon she usually wears on the side of her head is also replaced with a flower, further adding to the unique design of the figure. This figure is great for fans of Yunyun that are looking to see the shier side of her personality.

KonoSuba the Movie: Legend of Crimson Yunyun: Bunny Ver. 1/4 Scale Figure

This 1/4 scale figure features Yunyun in yet another revealing outfit, this time a classic bunny suit. A look of worry and vulnerability is seen on Yunyun’s face as the suit leaves little for the viewer’s imagination. The bunny suit itself is mainly glossy black with white cuffs and is accompanied by fishnet stockings and a white cotton ball tail on the backside. Red ribbons and high heels also accent the suit while also matching perfectly with the ribbons found in Yunyun’s twin tails, which rest on top of her chest. On top of her head is a pair of long, white bunny ears, which complete the outfit. This figure is also quite large and measures approximately 14.6 inches tall, an impressive size for a scale figure. That said, its price tag is just as impressive, making this figure great for fans that are move devoted to the character.

About Yunyun

Yunyun is a secondary character from KonoSuba and is often seen interacting with Kazuma and his party. She is the daughter of the chief of the Crimson Demon clan, a group of rather eccentric people that are incredibly skilled with magic. She is also the self-proclaimed rival to Megumin due to them being the top and second-best in their academy, though this rivalry is rather one-sided. Generally speaking, Yunyun is incredibly shy, yet equally friendly and caring. That said, she is also very prone to getting flustered and embarrassed. Her eccentric heritage has also led her to be alone often, as many people are wary of Crimson Demons because they believe they are volatile and crazy. After Megumin joins Kazuma’s party, however, Yunyun eventually manages to make some friends.

Other Important KonoSuba Characters

Although Yunyun generally gets along with most of Kazuma’s party, she has the most interaction and history with Megumin. The two were in the same class together and were the first and second-best students at the academy at the time. The pair’s relationship is rather strange, as Megumin often bullied and teased her in school and even continues to do so in the present. Despite this, Yunyun decided to declare herself as Megumin’s rival and often challenges her, though Megumin often finds a way to win. Megumin, however, does legitimately care for Yunyun’s wellbeing and hopes that people won’t take advantage of Yunyun’s kindness.
