Inosuke Hashibira Demon Slayer - Figures

Demon Slayer is a franchise that began as a manga that was printed in Weekly Shonen Jump and authored by Koyoharu Gotoge in 2016. As the series continued its serialization, it gained a notable following by readers and eventually received an anime adaptation by studio Ufotable in April 2019. This adaptation caused the series to explode in popularity and led to fans craving various kinds of merchandise. While some may prefer apparel, acrylic charms, and plushies, more dedicated fans enjoy collecting the many different figures of their favorite characters. One character that is rather popular with fans is Inosuke Hashibira, wielder of the Beast Breathing style and ally to the main protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado. Nendoroid Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Inosuke Hashibira Figure

This figure from Good Smile Company’s incredibly popular Nendoroid series takes the impulsive, irrational Inosuke and gives him an adorable, chibi-style twist. Like many figures from the Nendoroid line of figures, this figure of Inosuke has several points of articulation and extra parts that allow for an incredible amount of customization when it comes to posing. This figure comes with 3 face parts, a piece of shrimp tempura, Inosuke’s two Nichirin Blades, and a variety of different arms and legs to match several kinds of poses. The face parts feature two versions of Inosuke’s rather handsome face and blue hair while the third part is the boar mask that he usually wears to hide his true face. His Nichirin Blades can also be shown both with and without their coverings. The included stand is also articulated, making it easy to pose Inosuke any way the user wants.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Inosuke Hashibira Premium Perching Figure

This figure from Sega shows Inosuke taking a break from training and enjoying a tasty meal of rice balls. Since he can’t eat with his boar mask on, it is removed, revealing his surprisingly good looks. Many details of Inosuke’s design is captured in this figure, like his green eyes, feminine face, muscular body, and his modified Demon Slayer uniform: a dark, baggy hakama tied together with animal furs. The figure itself is posed sitting down with a rice ball in each hand with one hand resting on a knee and the other right in front of his chest. Inosuke’s mouth is already stuffed full, yet he continues to gaze at the rice ball in front of him greedily. Although Inosuke’s boar mask is removed from his face, it is still included in this figure and can be placed to his side, or even on top of his head.

ArtFX J Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Inosuke Hashibira Figure

This scale figure from Kotobukiya’s ArtFX J line tries to fit as many details as possible to recreate Inosuke’s character as accurately as possible. The figure is posed like Inosuke is in the middle of battle. Inosuke has both of his Nichirin Blades brandished and has both knees bent down low in his standard battle stance. One blade is pointed straight ahead of him while the other is held above his head. A great amount of attention was given to finer details of the figure, like the texture of the fur on his mask and hakama. Overall, this figure is great for more devoted fans that are willing to spend a decent amount of money for a higher quality product.

About Inosuke Hashibira

Inosuke Hashibira is a Demon Slayer and acts much like a traveling companion to the main protagonist of the series, Tanjiro Kamado. Inosuke is often described as arrogant, brash, and wild, which is likely due to him being raised by boars as a child. He often tries to act like the strongest person in the room and is not afraid to pick a fight with others. Inosuke is also a user of the Beast Breathing style, which he taught himself and is alleged to have been distantly derived from Wind Breathing. Although he is generally characterized as hot-headed, Inosuke has shown that he is quite intelligent at times, especially when it comes to combat.

Other Important Demon Slayer Characters

Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma are often sent out on missions as a team, resulting in the trio getting to know each other fairly well. Inosuke generally sees Tanjiro as a rival and is keen on challenging him to fights to see who is stronger. Inosuke’s relationship with Zenitsu, however, is much more abrasive due to their conflicting personalities and ideologies. Zenitsu views Inosuke as brash, violent, and crazy whereas Inosuke sees Zenitsu as stupid, cowardly, and weak. As the two continue to travel, however, they begin to learn to respect each other.
