Mikasa Ackerman Attack on Titan - Figures
Attack on Titan is a manga series that is written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama and was first published by Kodansha in September 2009. Today, several dozen readers of the manga have been captivated by its post-apocalyptic setting, intense action scenes, endearing characters, fascinating mysteries, and more. Due to the success of the manga, Attack on Titan received its first anime adaptation in April 2013, which brought the popularity of the series to a whole new level. Currently, there are over thirty volumes of the manga produced along with multiple OVAs, video games, films, and, of course, many kinds of merchandise. Figures of Mikasa Ackerman are notably popular among fans, with some of the most popular being the “Mikasa Ackerman 1/7th Scale Figure”, the “Mikasa Ackerman figma”, and the “Real Action Heroes 648 - Mikasa Ackerman”.
Mikasa Ackerman 1/7th Scale Figure
This figure of Mikasa has her frozen in time as she prepares to swing her ultrahard steel blades at a massive Titan. Many details are carefully sculpted into this figure to recreate Mikasa as accurately as possible, like her Survey Corps uniform, the vertical maneuvering gear and the many straps and buckles attached to her harness, and the red scarf that Eren gave her when she was young. Despite being in the middle of a Titan attack, Mikasa shows a calm, cold expression, showing off her cool-headed nature and incredible combat skill. The base of this figure also has part of a Titan’s hand passing by, as if it had attempted to swipe Mikasa down before she deftly dodged it.

Mikasa Ackerman figma Figure
This action figure from Max Factory’s famous figma line features Mikasa with many points of articulation and extra parts that let fans pose her in a variety of different ways and recreate their favorite scenes from the anime or manga. These points of articulation are mainly found in the arms and legs, the most mobile parts of the human body. Although simple standing poses are certainly feasible, this figure lends itself much better to more dynamic action poses. This is further helped with the inclusion of Mikasa’s ultrahard steel blades, vertical maneuvering gear with hooks and wires, and an articulated stand that can keep the figure up in the air. This figure also includes three different expressions to help fit a variety of different poses as well.

Real Action Heroes 648 - Mikasa Ackerman Figure
This figure from Medicom Toy features Mikasa with several interchangeable parts that can create several different poses. One pose has her standing up and equipped with her vertical maneuvering gear and blades, ready for another battle against the Titans. Other parts can be used to show Mikasa in the heat of battle as she glides through the air as she prepares to strike an enemy. In addition, this figure comes included with alternate heads with different facial expressions and a removable Survey Corps cape. One unique thing about Medicom Toy’s Real action Heroes line of figures is that their clothing is made with actual fabric to give them a more realistic feel. Although this results in a rather hefty price tag, devout fans of Mikasa are sure to want to add this figure to their collection.

About Mikasa Ackerman
Mikasa Ackerman is a member of the Special Operations Squad and the adoptive sister of the protagonist, Eren Yeager. She is often seen as withdrawn and cool-headed, but Mikasa cares deeply for her friends and comrades, often treating them much like a family. At a young age, her parents were killed and she herself was nearly sold by human traffickers, though she was saved by Eren. From that day on, Mikasa acted much like a protector for Eren and would often come rushing to his aid if he found himself in trouble. This protective nature continued even after Eren joined the Survey Corps, even though Mikasa simply strives to live a simple, safe life. Despite wanting a simple life, Mikasa is an incredibly competent soldier and is often considered to be one of the best from her generation.
Other Important Attack on Titan Characters
Armin Arlert is the childhood friend of both Mikasa and Eren and is someone that Mikasa fully trusts. She often relies on his incredible strategic skill in their times of need. Her initial attitude toward Captain Levi was quite hostile, as one of the first interactions with him involved Levi physically abusing and detaining Eren because he couldn’t bring himself to trust someone that can turn into a Titan. As time went on and they worked more as a team, Mikasa came to trust Levi more but still hasn’t fully forgiven Levi for what he did to Eren. Levi and Mikasa also share the last name Ackerman, which notes that they are related in some way, though the extent of their relationship is unclear.
