Mandalorian Star Wars - Action Figures
The Mandalorian is a TV series only available on Disney+ created by Jon Favreau which is part of the Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas. This series shows the events five years after the movie 'Return of the Jedi' which was released in 1983. It stars a lone bounty hunter who has been hired to retrieve someone named 'The Child' who is an infant of the same species as the Star Wars character Yoda. It premiered in November 2019 and thanks to a large number of positive reviews many products were produced such as Mandalorian action figures. From the many figures available, here are two popular figures that include the "ArtFX+ Star Wars: The Mandalorian IG-11" and "ArtFX+ Star Wars: The Mandalorian Mandalorian."
ArtFX+ Star Wars: The Mandalorian IG-11 Figure
This figure of IG-11 is from the new TV series Star Wars: The Mandalorian. It replicates the character from the series perfectly with its rustic robotic body showing off the intricate pipes, tubes, and wires connecting the body all together. The action figure is a silver-grey color with bronze-colored metal plates to cover and protect the delicate parts of his robotic body. Just like in the series, IG-11 has two belts around his chest crossing over like an x with silver platings at the front. The hands are hook-like clamps, with one arm laying by his side with his right hand holding onto a large black blastor. IG-11 holds the blastor upwards towards the sky as though he is ready to shoot at any of his enemies. For his head, it is a dirty silver metal in the shape of a rounded-off tube with the top of his head forming a cone with the pointed tip broken off. For his eyes, small tubes are sticking out with red accents giving off a scary and antagonist vibe. This action figure has been sculpted and painted in great detail with the bronze plating looking to have bits of rust showing the many battles he has been through and survived.

ArtFX+ Star Wars: The Mandalorian Mandalorian Figure
This action figure of the Mandalorian shows him wearing dark green pants and long sleeve top with brown leather armor on his thighs, shoulders, arms, and chest. There are many straps attached to his legs holding more weapons and belts across his chest and waist holding many miscellaneous objects that would aid him in his bounty hunting duties. His hands are covered in black gloves with the fingers being colored yellow. His left hand is clenched in a fist and by his side while his other hand grips onto a black gun with a long nozzle. The Mandalorians finger lightly holds the trigger as though he is ready at any moment to attack. He wears a large black cape that reaches his ankles and over top of his cape is an Amban phase-pulse blaster, also known as an Amban sniper rifle. He wears a durasteel Mandalorian armor helmet similar to the clone troopers with a black T shape to show where his eyes would be.

About Mandalorian
IG-11 is a deadly assassin droid, as well as an efficient bounty hunter with a masculine-programmed IG-series. During the New Republic Era IG-11 was programmed to follow the instructions of the Bounty Hunters' Guild and initially attempted to capture and kill the target called 'The Child'. It was later stopped and destroyed by another bounty hunter called 'The Mandalorian'. IG-11 was then repaired and reprogrammed to protect the Child.
Mandalorian, his real name being Din Djarin or simply known as Mando, also worked as a bounty hunter during the New Republic Era. He is part of the Mandalorian clan and was brought up to believe in the teachings of the Children of the Watch, a cult that had broken apart from the mainstream Mandalorian clan. The Mandalorian was trained to become a warrior and made a reputation for himself as a bounty hunter as he was a battle-hardened veteran who was strong and dangerous. He was hired to recover the asset known as the Child which is where the TV series begins.
Other Important Star Wars Characters
The Child who is the asset the Mandalorian and IG-11 are targeting is the same species as Yoda and is named Grogu is most commonly known as baby Yoda. He is a very Force-sensitive Mandalorian who would be able to become someone efficient in the ways of the Force, because of this fact he was targeted by IG-11 who tried to capture and kill him but was luckily saved by the Mandalorian. Grogu was born and raised at the Jedi Temple and traveled with the Mandalorian across the galaxy where they would search for any remaining Jedi left.
