OtapediaAndroid 21 Dragon Ball - Figures

First serialized in Weekly Shonen comics not Jump in December 1984 Dragon Ball went on to become one of Jump's most successful manga and its author Toriyama Akira became a manga legend. The original Dragonball anime was first broadcasted in February 1986 and saw a long successful run until transitioning to the more action-focused Dragon Ball Z in April 1989. After ending its phenomenal run on January 31, 1996, Dragon Ball fans were left wanting. Tori studios continued to produce an original animated continuation of the Dragon Ball story called DragonBall GT. The story then continued again with Dragon Ball Super after the success of two theatrical releases sparked a long-overdue Dragon Ball resurgence. The Dragon Ball franchise is famous for having a wide variety of video games developed including role-playing games, puzzle games, and fighting games. One such game is the popular Dragon Ball Fighter Z. A 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up game (much like street fighter or guilty gear). In addition to the much loved and well-known cast of Dragon Ball, some original characters also appear. The main villain in this game is Android 21, a unique android with awesome abilities. About Android 21

Android 21’s backstory is ambiguous. She made her debut in the beat ‘em up game, Dragon Ball Fighter Z. She is the culmination of splicing cells from all of the Z-Fighters, Cell, Frieza, and Majin Buu. This is why she has pink skin like Buu, a tail like Frieza, and can regenerate and use absorbed life forms to power up like Cell. Initially appearing in a human form without a tail and somewhat aesthetically resembling Dr. Gero’s previous Androids, 21 has bushy auburn hair and bright blue eyes. It’s only when she transforms into her true form that she comes to resemble a Majin. According to the character herself, she looks like an adult but is in fact less than ten years old, leading her to regret having reached adulthood without the experience of being a teenager. When she absorbs a number of strong fighters her power increases dramatically and can be an extremely formidable opponent, for even the likes of Son Goku and Vegeta.

Other Important Dragon Ball Characters

Her human template was the mother of Android 16’s human template and she was converted into an Android by Dr. Gero. She contains cells from a number of characters formidable villains that play a main role throughout the Dragon Ball series franchise. This includes Frieza that played the main villain at the end of the Namek Saga in the Dragon Ball Z series. Also King Cold, Frieza’s brother who Goku and Vegeta encountered in a number of off-series movies. Lastly Kid Buu, the ultimate form of Majin Buu, who the Z fighters last fought at the end of the Dragon Ball Z series.
