OtapediaGogeta Dragon Ball Super - Figures

Dragon Ball Z, an incredible series in the world of anime and manga, has brought a similarly incredible figure to the world of collectibles. After Dragon Ball Z aired for seven years from 1989 to 1996, a sequel series called Dragon Ball Super aired from 2015 to 2018. This brought a new wave of figures to the market that were influenced by designs and concepts created not only by Akira Toriyama, but his assistant and successor Toyotaro. One notable concept brought to life is the Metamoran fusion dance, which allows two characters to fuse into a single being. This idea is shown most notably by the character that forms when Goku and Vegeta fuse using the technique Gogeta. The four figures listed below are various best-selling products that show the character in a variety of different forms.

Gogeta (Ichiban Figure Dragon Ball Extreme Saiyan)

This figure has Gogeta looking incredibly confident, even in his base form. Bearing in mind that this Metamoran fusion dance multiplies the power of the two most powerful people on Earth and has no risk of de-fusing by using too much power like with Potara fusion, Gogeta has every right to be arrogant. Like with other characters that use the Metamoran fusion, Gogeta wears a black and yellow vest with white pants that are tied up with a teal sash. The black finish on the hair also gives it a thick, full appearance. His stance also screams power and attitude while the fine details on his clothes and skin make this figure absolutely stunning.

Super Saiyan Gogeta (Dragon Ball Legends Collab Figure)

“I am not Goku or Vegeta. I am Gogeta! It’s over, Janemba, I’ve come for you!” These are the first words that Gogeta boldly exclaimed in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn before fighting against the devilishly powerful Janemba. The outstretched hand overhead is the unique pose the character takes before using his signature Stardust Breaker technique. This figure of Gogeta recreates his original appearance in the movie, which has a black and orange vest instead of a black and yellow one. The white pants and blue sash remain the same, however. The halo above his head symbolizes that both Goku and Vegeta were dead before fusing, but Gogeta still demolishes Janemba with a frightening amount of power in his Super Saiyan form. The vivid colors and attention to details make this brilliant figure look like it was taken out right from the anime.

Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta (Dragon Ball Super)

Faced with a new threat that is more powerful than they could have imagined, Goku and Vegeta are forced to use the Metamoran fusion dance for the first time in Dragon Ball canon. Their opponent is Broly, a Legendary Super Saiyan who has just exploded with rage after witnessing the lifeless body of his father. As Broly’s power gets out of hand, Goku suggests the fusion dance, much to Vegeta’s dismay. Gogeta eventually uses his Super Saiyan form, which is what this figure recreates. The figure features Gogeta in the classic Metamoran vest and white pants with a blue sash, which pairs very nicely with Gogeta’s spiky blue hair. The powerful pose of this figure also makes it an excellent display piece.

  • Manufacturer: Banpresto
  • Specifications: Painted, non-articulated, non-scale PVC & ABS figure with stand
  • Height (approx.): 18 cm | 7.1"

Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Gogeta (Super Dragon Ball Heroes 9th Anniversary Figure)

Super Dragon Ball Heroes brings a lot of interesting ideas to the table when it comes to characters. Not only does it introduce characters with previously unseen forms like Super Saiyan 3, the series also brings in characters from other continuities like Dragon Ball GT. One such character is Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, who brings some much needed diversity when it comes to character design. His huge spiky orange hair, red furry body, and his black and blue clothes offer an interesting variety of colors to the Super Dragon Ball Heroes roster. The detail of this figure is outstanding, particularly when it comes to his fur and hair, which is recreated almost perfectly from the original anime.

  • Specifications: Painted, non-articulated, non-scale figure with stand
  • Height (approx.): 18 cm | 7.1"

About Gogeta

Gogeta is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta after they perform the Metamoran fusion dance. His first appearance was in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. The two end up messing up the fusion, resulting in a fat version of the character that is sometimes called Veku. After performing the dance correctly, Gogeta uses the Stardust Breaker to defeat Janemba and purge the evil from his body, saving the day. Gogeta later appears in Dragon Ball GT as well. Here, Gogeta uses his Super Saiyan 4 form to fight against the mighty Omega Shenron, though this incarnation is much cockier than his previous appearance. Here, Gogeta fires a Kamehameha, only for it to shoot confetti rather than a powerful ki attack. His arrogance gets the better of him, however, as he defuses before he can finish the job. His most recent (and first canonical) appearance was in the movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly, where he fights against the titular character. After Vegeta learns the dance and performs it correctly, Gogeta quickly transforms into Super Saiyan Blue for the first time ever. With this transformation, he finally gets the upper hand against the enraged Saiyan.
