Monster Hunter - Figures
The unquestionable popularity and success of the Monster Hunter video game series has spawned a large amount of merchandise that comes in many different forms. One of the most popular kinds of collectible merchandise comes in the form of figures that range from scale figures to nendoroids. Many of these figures recreate hunter characters and appear in a variety of different types of armor while wielding various weapons, though there are also some figures of monsters that appear in the series as well. Vulcanlog Monster Hunter: Hunter Swordswoman Kirin Ver. Figure
This particular figure features a powerful female warrior with Kirin armor and a large Shouraiken Kirin sword that can be used for both offensive and defensive positions. There are also two optional sets of hands and two different facial expressions that allow for a wide range of customization. Its 15 joints, 36 points of articulation, and 6 millimeter double joint also allow for an incredible variety of poses for its user to choose from.
The Monster Hunter series is especially known for the incredible variety of armor available for each character in the game and this figure attempts to recreate every possible detail. This female character wears a four-piece Kirin armor set that still lets her feminine charm shine through, as her upper chest, arms, legs, and stomach are all exposed, revealing the character’s well-toned body. A display base is also included for proud collectors and lets them pose the figure in plenty of different standing squatting, or sitting poses.
The sheer amount of customization in this figure is much larger than most enthusiasts could imagine, bringing the definition of “toy” to a higher level. When using everything that comes with the figure, this character can take the form of various different combat and casual stances. Each piece maintains a high standard of quality and detail that often exceeds what fans would remember from the game series due to its physical 3-D structure.

Monster Hunter XX Mizutsune Series Female Gunner 1/7 Scale Figure
Monster Hunter Generations (Monster Hunter XX in Japan) was a gateway that attracted many new gamers to the series by offering a kind of “all-in-one” take of previous releases by keeping the best from its predecessors and tweaking those aspects even further. As such, a variety of figures based on characters from the game were created and sold shortly after Monster Hunter Generations release.
This particular 1/7 scale figure from the Monster Hunter XX Mizutsune Series features a female Gunner. She is captured in a dynamic pose that has her leaping from the water with her bow in hand, smiling brightly along her Palico, who wears armor that compliments the Gunner’s.
The Mizutsune armor featured in this figure is incredibly stylish, boasting an array of beautiful tones of red, pink, and ivory that perfectly compliment the character’s action-packed pose and bright smile. The figure is further enhanced by its beautifully decorated base of flowing water and vibrant plants below the Gunner. Although this figure may be around double the price of most scale figures that fans are aware of, the sheer amount of detail found in the sculpting and painting of this figure more than makes up for it, truly making it a figure to be praised by fans.

Capcom Figure Builder Creators Model Monster Hunter Glavenus
This figure from the Capcom Figure Builder line features the terrifying Glavenus, a brute wyvern that was added to Monster Hunter World in the Iceborne expansion. This incredible recreation of the monster includes an incredible amount of detail from head to tail, like its beautiful red and blue spikes and scales, to its giant open maw, to its deadly glaive-shaped tail.
This Glavenus is posed on top of a rocky spire and looks as if it were frozen in time mid-roar. Its nasty mouth is left wide open, exposing its teeth while it brandishes its massive tail, giving it an incredibly intimidating aura. It is the perfect figure for those that are fans of the monsters of Monster Hunter than the human characters.

About Monster Hunter
In 2004, the game publisher Capcom created a fantasy game that would set off a new trend and shake up the action role-playing game genre as many people knew it. In a world where deadly monsters threaten the innocent, skilled hunters are needed to keep settlements safe. The player’s character becomes one of these hunters and takes on quests from the locals that require them to either kill or capture these monsters. Other quests involve gathering hard to find items or other objectives that put them in harm’s way. As the player completes more quests, they gain the respect and trust of the townsfolk, earning increased rewards as a result.
Players can often customize their character’s appearance when first starting a game, then later choose specific types of weapons and armor that have their own perks and drawbacks to find something that truly distinguishes them from other hunters.
