Danganronpa Nendoroid - Figures
Danganronpa is a murder-mystery video game that inspired the anime, Danganronpa: The Animation, that aired in Summer 2013 and ended in Fall 2013. It follows the same plot as the video game and the legacy of its successes continued the second anime series, Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School, and branching into pop culture and numerous figures such as the main character Makoto Naegi. The Danganronpa series has released popular Nendoroid figures such as the “Nendoroid Makoto Naegi | Danganronpa: The Animation”, “Danganronpa V3 Kokichi Oma Deformed Figure Limited Ver. Nendoroid Makoto Naegi | Danganronpa: The Animation
Makoto in nendoroid form and in all his chibi glory. The main protagonist has his trademark hoodie with the red symbol on the back of the hood. His figurine has three face plates, one of him deep in thought solving one of the murders, one him with his determined detective expression, and the last with him in a sweat and thrown off by a trial. He also comes with a witness stand along with a striking sign that reads “confutation” to recreate favorite scenes from the series.

Danganronpa V3 Kokichi Oma Deformed Figure Limited Ver. A
Looks can be deceiving with this chibi Kokichi with his bright smile. He is a limited edition that perfectly captures his goofball appearance that can be deceiving if not for his recreated white straightjacket-style suit and black and white checkerboard scarf that gives a second glance of his character and possibly untrustworthy smile.

Danganronpa V3 Kokichi Oma Deformed Figure Limited Ver. B
This limited edition Version B of Kokichi starts to show his true color and strong sense of mistrust. His chibi smile and discolored buttons may be cute, but don’t be fooled. This figurine perfectly captures a character plotting his next wicked scheme.

Danganronpa V3 Kokichi Oma Deformed Figure
The “Ultimate Supreme Leader”, the true face of Kokichi Oma, his original character art perfectly recreated in this adorable chibi figurine. Even his cute appearance still gives off his signature charm and unsetting smile with his black tattered cap and holding his favorite soda that any fan would love.

Nendoroid Monokuma
“Good morning everyone!” it’s Monokuma, the mastermind, in chibi style that perfectly captures his small but deadly stature like he has just stepped out of the game itself. He comes with two face slates, one of his basic expression and the other is his laughing expression, probably chuckling at one of his victims’ despair. He also comes with extra arms to recreate his best poses from the visual novel as well as his trademark gavel and big red button.

About the Characters
Makoto Naegi is the main protagonist of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa: The Animation. Known as the Ultimate Lucky Student, Makoto is seemingly and insecure, rather average student, with bad luck following him wherever he goes. He makes up for his shortcomings with his blind optimism and kind heart which helps him form bonds with the most unlikeliest of classmates. Kokichi Oma, on the other hand, is a self-proclaimed “Ultimate Supreme Leader”. He is a character in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony and is noticeably a fan favorite in character popularity polls. Kokichi is a prankster and evil and isn’t translucent about it. He is manipulative, lies, and has no filter with his thoughts and words. In Danranronpa’s twisted game, can an honest evil be a trusted ally? Then, of course, there is the mastermind himself, Monokuma, the teddy bear, but don’t say that to his face. He is the one behind trapping Makoto and the rest of the students with his twisted games. All he wants is to see them evil each other and the fans love to hate him for his bloodlust and comedic obliviousness to his own evil ways with a voice that sounds like Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh decided to create a demon child.

Although most cosplayers like to go for the crazier and visually more unique characters like Junko Enoshima and Monokuma, every fan was more than excited when Nendoroid Monokuma as well as Nendoroid Makoto Naegi first came out and got nothing but praised and five-stars for his cute appearance, genuine high quality, and fan loving his surprised expression the best and how it interacts with their other Nendoroids. All of Danganronpa Nendoroids, especially Monokuma, are very popular, most of them “sold out” or “out of stock” and fan still wanting the super popular Nendoroid Monokuma most of all shows just how popular the Danganronpa franchise is from its videogame to its anime series.
