About the Characters

Ryuji Sakamoto, Skull, is a 16 year old student. He is a playable character in Persona 5. His most distinguishing feature is his spiky blond hair, though his hair’s natural color is black. He’s a trouble-maker and is constantly shaking things up just for the sake of it, but deep down is very empathetic and cares a lot for those without power.

Goro Akechi or Crow is a recurring character from Persona 4. He has medium length wavy brown hair and is tall and skinny. He’s also known as The Charismatic Detective and dresses like one: Black gloves, long coat and an overall dark color palette. He comes off as a well educated, intelligent youth, polite and considerate of others. Later he is revealed to have a dark side much different to his public persona.

Haru Okumura, Noir, is a wealthy, reserved girl. Her high school uniform has been modified to better suit her tastes, both winter and summer uniforms being modified to look girly, buttoned-up and formal. Her Phantom Thieves outfit, however, featuring a lot of black and violet as well as golden buttons on her vest/corset. She has a hard time discerning people’s true intentions and as a result can’t fully trust anyone, as she always suspects people being kind to her might be taking advantage of her because of her family’s high position in society.

About Persona 5

Persona 5 has been hailed since its release both for its complex story as for its game design. Popularity has led to game spin-offs, anime adaptations, and many more elements of the Persona 5 world making their way into popular culture. The game follows Joker after he is transferred to Shujin Academy. As the school year progresses, students of Shujin Academy become attuned to special powers and form a vigilante-style club known as Phantom Thieves of Hearts. They operate inside the MetaVerse, a sort of alternate universe which is born from the collective subconscious of humanity’s hidden or suppressed desires. Beings known as Shadows emerge from this universe, and the Phantom Thieves of Hearts have to battle them using physical manifestations of their psyche, often the repressed aspects of it, known as Persona.
