Asuna is the main heroine of the series and fights by Kirito’s side. She was one of the 10,000 players trapped in the Sword Art Online game. In the real world, her name is Asuna Yuui. This makes her the only user who uses her real name within the game. She has a relationship with Kirito and is currently married to him. She is a young and helpful girl, willing to help others when they are in serious trouble. She takes the game very seriously and wants to complete it in order to log out alive. She is not afraid to act on her own and make decisions for herself.
