Vegeta Dragon Ball Z - Figures
The years from 1989 to 1996 brought the world Dragon Ball Z, which ended up becoming one of the most influential pop culture phenomenons of all time. After quickly becoming a flagship anime and manga series in Japan, Dragon Ball Z paved the road for bringing anime worldwide. Although Son Goku is a lovable character on his own, no good series is complete without a rival for the protagonist, which is where Vegeta steps in. Although he shines in his roles in the manga and anime, Vegeta also does particularly well in the world of collectible figures.
Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z Super Structure Collection Vol. 1)
This figure has Vegeta scowling at friends and foes alike as he wears his preferred blue, white, and gold Saiyan armor. His pose gives him the very definition of arrogance, as he stands with his arms crossed, chin down, and feet wide apart. Even though he is in his black-haired base form, Vegeta is just as dominant as ever. This figure pays particular attention to Vegeta’s face and muscles to give them enough detail to make the figure look like it can straight out of the anime.

Super Saiyan God Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z Blood of Saiyans Special Ver. Vol. 7)
After learning that Goku had become a Super Saiyan, Vegeta left to train in the cosmos alone in the hopes of achieving the legendary form as well. Through many internal struggles and feeling a great deal of inferiority, he finally reached his goal. This was eventually only a stepping stone, however, as Vegeta would later gain the ability to transform into the faster and stronger red-haired Super Saiyan God form. The methods he used to do this are unknown, but perhaps managed to learn how to use it by training with Whis on Beerus’ planet. This figure has Super Saiyan God Vegeta posed in a dynamic action pose as if he were in the middle of attacking. One leg looks like it was just used to jump off of the ground while an arm is pulled back to prepare to strike his opponent. Vegeta’s face shows a tense shouting expression as well, further adding to the intense mood the figure gives off.

Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegeta (Super Dragon Ball Heroes 9th Anniversary Figure:)
With the rise of Super Dragon Ball Heroes, an incredible influx of reimagined characters and their variations have joined the Dragon Ball character roster. One such character is the awesome Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegeta, who hails from an entirely separate continuity of Dragon Ball where the events of Dragon Ball GT actually happened. In Super Dragon Ball Heroes, both Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Goku appear, but are struck with awe when the original Goku and Vegeta show off Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct. This version of Xeno Vegeta features him after transforming into Super Saiyan 4, which is a rather drastic visual departure from the previous Super Saiyan forms. The form gives Vegeta a red Saiyan tail and fur that grows around his back and sides. Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta also has hair that is significantly longer than his base form. In this figure, he is given an action pose that has his right arm stretched out behind him, as if he was about to fire an energy blast at his opponent.

Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta (Dragon Ball Super the Movie - Ultimate Soldiers Vol. 3:)
Not many enemies can stand up to Vegeta, but when they prove to be a challenge, he always has his Super Saiyan Blue form at the ready. After training from Whis and his time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber during the Goku Black saga, Vegeta had perfected the form. This figure by Banpresto attempts to recreate the battle between Vegeta and Broly in the Dragon Ball Super movie. It has Vegeta in a pose where he flies through the air with a fist wound up and ready to strike an unseen Broly. Toyotaro’s design really stands out when comparing this Vegeta with his older renditions.

- Specifications: Painted, non-articulated, non-scale figure

About Vegeta
Vegeta is the prince of the warrior Saiyan race. Though he was born into royalty and destined to rule over his people, Frieza destroyed his home planet and many people living on it due to a fear of a Saiyan uprising. The prince swore that he would have vengeance one day and eventually headed to Earth to use the Dragon Balls to gain immortality and overthrow the monster that obliterated his home. After losing at the hands of Goku, however, he became a rival character. This would end up being the best thing for Vegeta, as it set him on a course of redemption that eventually led him to become one of the main characters alongside Goku himself.
