Digimon Adventure (Digimon: Digital Monsters in the US) was released in 1999 and it is based on the tamagotchi-style virtual pet franchise of the same name. The anime became incredibly popular and was released in the United States shortly after its airing in Japan. A movie with a wide theatrical release was shown in countries later that following year. The franchise started solely as virtual pets, but with the incredibly successful simultaneous release of the anime series and a video game, Digimon secured its place in the world of anime ever since.
The following figures recreate some of the most popular and well-loved characters in the franchise. Digimon Adventure DigiColle Data 3 Box Set
This Digimon figure set includes a random assortment of eight different small and cute Digimon. This set can include the following characters: Veemon, Wamumon, Gatomon, Patamon, Lopmon, Terriermon, Chikomon (and its evolution Chibimon), and Leafmon (and its evolution Minomon). These are all Digimon that made their debut in the second installment of the Digimon anime series, Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Gamers. This box set is great for fans that wish to collect miniature figures of their favorite Digimon. Although this set features Digimon from Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Gamers, there are other box sets that include popular Digimon from other parts of the anime series as well. This figure depicts the legendary final form of Garurumon. It is approximated 4.5 inches in height and includes several additional parts. With the Cocythus Breath attack pose, the mid-air Flight Wings, and the standard pose, this figure is both dynamic and versatile.

GEM Series Digimon Adventure Taichi Yagami and Agumon 20th Anniversary Version
This highly anticipated 20th Anniversary version is going to be released in July 2020. It features Yagami Taichi and his companion Agumon, who is arguably the most popular Digimon.
The figure comes with two high-quality, hand-painted characters and a terrain stand that is full of detail. It truly makes these two characters come to life. Taichi waves as if he could see the audience behind him while Agumon runs alongside him. It’s almost like they are in the middle of an adventure.

About the Characters
The Digimon DigiColle Box Set 3 features many of the popular Digimon from the second installment of the Digimon universe, Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Gamers. These are all well-loved characters and are widely known for their cute appearance. Some of them even appear in their baby forms, which make them even more lovable.
Metal Garurumon is the evolved form of Garurumon, the adult form of Gabumon. Garurumon is Matt’s companion in the first installment of the series, Digimon Adventure. In appearance, it is similar to a Siberian wolf, which explains many of his ice-type attacks. His fur is said to be as hard as Mythril. Metal Garurumon also makes an appearance in Digimon Adventure 02.
Taichi Yagami is the main protagonist of Digimon Adventure and later appears as a supporting character in Digimon Adventure 02. He is an 8 year old boy who has a very playful and adventurous personality, often rushing into things only to find out he didn’t think things through. He is a natural leader for his group of friends, who look up to him.
Agumon is Taichi’s companion. He is a powerful reptile who, despite still being on his way to adulthood, thinks himself powerful and mighty. He cares deeply about Taichi and is very protective of him. He is one of the most recognizable Digimon.
About the Digimon Series
The Digital World is a world that exists in parallel to the Real World. This world was born along with the first computer and it is ever-expanding. It is linked to the Earth’s technology. Every time a new type of computer is created and the internet expands, so does the Digital World. Digimon are manifestations that seem to represent different phenomena of the Digital World. A Digimon can never die in the Digital World, but they are vulnerable when they cross over to the Real World. They are sentient beings who are made up of data. Digimon can cross over to the Real World whenever a portal opens. Humans are often unaware of the existence of these creatures and the Digital World as a whole.
