Tanjiro Kamado figures are in incredibly high demand among fans of the Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer Figures series, which has gained an incredibly amount of support since it originally aired back in Spring 2019. These figures feature Tanjiro in a variety of poses, some of which were inspired from iconic scenes from the series, making them highly sought after. Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro Kamado (BUZZmod. 1/12 Scale Figure)
This figure comes with a variety of different accessories to allow the user to display Tanjiro in a variety of different ways. It includes three different faces that each has its own expression: a serious fighting face, a calm smiling face, and a funny pouting face. The user is also able to change out his legs to allow the figure to be in either a standing or formal sitting pose. Similarly, several pairs of arms are included to help fit the mood of the rest of the figure. Various pairs of hands allow the figure to hold other accessories, like one of the Nichirin blades included in the set. This figure has Tanjiro wearing his standard Demon Slayer uniform and his black and green checkered haori, which is made with actual fabric to let the user enjoy a heightened sense of realism.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro Kamado (Figuarts Zero Breath of Water)
This Figuarts figure displays Tanjiro in his standard garb, a black Demon Slayer uniform covered with his checkered haori. The haori is sculpted to make it look like it is blowing in the wind, which adds a more dynamic feel to the figure as Tanjiro winds up a strike with both hands on his Nichirin blade while using a Breath of Water technique. Tanjiro has a harsher facial expression here. His eyes are focused and his thin eyebrows are scrunched together in a scowl while his teeth are clenched together. A particular noteworthy characteristic of this figure is all of the water effects that spiral around Tanjiro as he uses his Breath of Water technique. In the figure, several streams of water accented with white foam can be seen swirling around him as he prepares to launch his attack.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro Kamado (Super Premium Figure)
Like many other figures, this Super Premium figure by Sega has Tanjiro wearing his classic Demon Slayer uniform and his black and green checkered haori. This figure, however, is unique in that it also includes the wooden box that Tanjiro uses to carry his younger sister Nezuko in during the day. Tanjiro is posed with one hand open and in front of him while the other is raised up with his Nichirin blade in hand, ready to strike. He is poised and prepared for battle, showing a fierce and determined expression with his eyebrows drawn into a scowl and his mouth open, as if he were shouting, showing the serious side of Tanjiro when he is in combat.

About Tanjiro Kamado
Tanjiro Kamado is the main protagonist of Kimetsu no Yaiba. As the protagonist, it is no surprise that he is one of the most popular characters, as shown in various popularity polls. His popularity likely stems from his strong determination and positive attitude that he shows throughout the entire story. He is known for not backing down from a strong opponent and continuously grows stronger in order to win, no matter how badly the odds are stacked against him. He also has a kind and caring personality, which comes from being the head of his family after his father passed away. As the oldest son, he had five younger siblings and his mother that he needed to care for. This nurturing nature stayed with him even after his family was killed, leading him to sometimes show mercy toward bloodthirsty demons. This aspect also resulted in his fame among fans of the series. His distinct red hair and hanafuda earrings also make him a popular option for cosplay as well.

As one might expect from the protagonist of the series, figures of Tanjiro Kamado are incredibly popular and are in very high demand. Figures with particularly dynamic and high-action poses are especially praised by fans, making them even harder to come by. Even some figures that have yet to be released have been labeled as “sold out”, leading manufacturers to impose various purchase limits to potential customers. Several Tanjiro figures also have second production runs after they sell out, showing just how popular the Kimetsu no Yaiba series is.
