Son Goku Dragon Ball Z - Figures
After airing in Japan from 1989 until 1996, Dragon Ball Z went on to become one of the biggest and most recognizable names in anime. It single handedly piqued international interest in the world of Japanese anime and became a worldwide phenomenon. Heading the movement was the unforgettable protagonist Son Goku. Over the years, there have been countless Son Goku figures produced, all displaying different aspects of the character and scenes in which he appears. Son Goku (Dragon Ball Super Creator x Creator)
Taken from the Tournament of Power arc in the Dragon Ball Super series, Son Goku in his imperfect Ultra Instinct form. This is the second time Goku enters the Ultra Instinct form in the Tournament of Power. This is made clear by battle damage to his trademark Turtle School gi with the left knee torn and the top half completely missing. Just like when he used this form to defeat the almighty fusion of Kale and Caulifla, Kefla, here he takes a powerful stance with fists clenched by his side, ready to do battle with the terrifying Pride Trooper from Universe 11, Jiren.

Son Goku (Dragon Ball Legends Collab)
Narrowly escaping the explosion of Planet Namek, Son Goku found himself on the Planet Yardrat, where he learned the instant transmission technique and ki control before heading back to Earth. Goku arrives just after Mecha-Frieza’s defeat at the hands of Future Trunks in this variation of his trademark gi. The battle with Frieza on Namek destroyed the top half of his gi, so Goku appears wearing the traditional Yardrat attire. This figure is taken from his brief but intense spar with Super Saiyan Trunks, where he uses just one finger to block multiple sword strikes. This costume is featured very briefly in the manga and anime series, but became very popular among its fans. This costume is, however, seen once more in the manga when Vegeta goes to Planet Yardrat himself to receive the same training that Goku had after his lucky escape from the destroyed Planet Namek.

Super Saiyan Son Goku (Dragon Ball FighterZ Android Battle)
The Super Saiyan form is arguably one of the most recognizable transformations in the world of anime and manga. Based on the game Dragon Ball FighterZ, shown here is a mastered Super Saiyan form Son Goku in his trademark orange Turtle School uniform firing a Kamehameha from an aerial position. This attack can be seen in many scenes throughout the series. Used against enemies including Piccolo, Frieza, Cell, Majin Buu and more; this along with the Super Saiyan form give this model the essence of Son Goku. This is an excellent figure modelled for an excellent character featuring in an excellent game.

Super Saiyan Blue Goku (Dragon Ball Super Masterlise)
The peak of Saiyan power, Super Saiyan Blue, is the most powerful conscious transformation Son Goku has achieved yet. By concentrating his ki inwards and cloaking himself in god ki, Goku effortlessly crushes even the most terrifying of foes. Here, Goku is in his classic battle stance with one hand clenched by the waist and the other in front ready to grapple. The power drain of Super Saiyan Blue was great when he initially achieved the form, but he slowly improved its efficiency just like with the original Super Saiyan form. His battle damaged orange gi is completely ripped from the waist up, revealing the blue clothing he wears underneath.

About Son Goku
As the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball series and one of the most recognizable characters of all time, Goku needs no elaborate introduction. After he was sent to conquer Earth as a baby from his home planet of Vegeta, he was discovered by an old mountain hermit and was raised to be a force for good and eventually became a protector of the planet. With his desire to fight continually stronger opponents and his undying desire to win, Goku deservedly holds a special place in the hearts of fans of the series. Though his desire for combat may be intense, he is pure of heart and has strong morals and convictions. His spiky black hair and orange gi have become something of an icon in Japan and internationally.

Son Goku being the most popular character in the Dragon Ball series has seen more than his fair share of figure and model production lines, and rightly so. Just like the other Saiyan characters, Goku is capable of utilizing a very wide repertoire of transformations including the Super Saiyan forms 1, 2, 3, 4, God and Blue, and subtypes of each (ascended Super Saiyan, Mastered Super Saiyan, etc). Goku’s variety of figures go a step further, however, when we consider that he also has a child form in the original Dragon Ball anime and manga, then again in the GT continuity. Furthermore, he still has two giant ape forms, the original Great Ape form from Dragon Ball and his Golden Great Ape from Dragon Ball GT. Countless collaborations between games, manga, anime, and spin-off franchises also partake in the Son Goku figure collection. Most product lines have a per-customer limit attached purely due to the popularity of the character.
