Seven Deadly Sins - Figures
The Seven Deadly Sins was originally a one-shot manga written by Nakaba Suzuki for Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2011 and was later expanded into a series in 2012. Its growing reader base led to an anime series that began in 2014 and was followed by several other seasons in later years. The success of The Seven Deadly Sins led to various kinds of merchandise to be created in recent years and included things like figures based on characters from the series. A vast majority of figure releases are rather affordable, though some more expensive high-quality scale figures are also available for diehard fans. Here is an example of some popular Seven Deadly Sins figures.
Real Action Heroes No. 709: Meliodas – The Seven Deadly Sins
This is a high-quality cast figurine of the leader of The Seven Deadly Sins, Meliodas. He is known as the Sin of Wrath and is said to be over 3,000 years old, despite looking like a teenager. On top of his arm is the symbol of a dragon, which represents the Sin of Wrath. He is presented in his usual outfit that is representative of what fans would know from the manga series. In addition to his regular clothes, he comes with a shirt that has been damaged in battle, a jacket, a tie, and boots.
He has an impressive range of customization options, including 2 interchangeable forelocks and 3 interchangeable expressions to match the poses created by the figure with and without weapons. He has his casual smile, a battle stare, and a face with the seal on his forehead. Also included is a selection of interchangeable hand and wrist parts. For weapons, he has Liz’s Dragon Sword and the Dragon Handle. A sheath to hold the Dragon Sword is also strapped on his back, along with a travel bag holding his things.

Rocking a very toned, ripped chest and his tight red leather outfit, this figure captures the manga character’s likeness in great detail for a very affordable price. Fists clenched with one at his side and the other near his face, many details have been recreated, including the Fox mark on the lower left side of his face. This figure also comes in a detailed collector’s box, which has been artistically decorated.

This figure shows his grizzly bear mark on his left calf, a unique characteristic of King.
In this figure, he looks less like a warrior and more like a grumpy teenager as he holds his pillow and pouts. Decorated in vivid color combinations of blue and green, he comes with no weapons or accessories apart from his display stand. His Spirit Spear Chastiefol, also appears, but only in its non-combative pillow form.

About Seven Deadly Sins
Set in ancient Britannia, the Seven Deadly Sins are an order of knights who were falsely accused of planning to overthrow the Liones Kingdom, where they resided. They were defeated by the Holy Knights, the most powerful knights in Britannia. Behind the scenes, the Holy Knights were being manipulated by a demon named Fraudrin whose hidden agenda was to free the demon race from their prison. Ten years after the outcast of the Seven Deadly Sins, the Holy Knights suddenly seized control of the kingdom.
After being subjected to the tyrannical rule of the kingdom, the third princess of the Liones Kingdom finds her destiny intertwined with the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins, Meliodas. Together, they both sought to clear the name of the Seven Deadly Sins and restore the glory of the Liones Kingdom by achieving liberation from the Holy Knights. To achieve this, Meliodas must lead the Seven Deadly Sins against his brother Zeldris. In doing so, many shocking truths are uncovered.
The second to join was the “Sin of Envy”, Diane, who was then followed by the “Sin of Greed”, Ban. King, the “Sion of Sloth”, joined shortly after. The fifth member to join was Gowther, the “Sin of Lust”, while the “Sin of Gluttony”, Merlin, was the sixth. The final member to make their way to the group was Escanor, the “Sin of Pride”.
