Cardcaptor Sakura is a series that achieved great success inside and outside Japan after its publication in 1996 and its anime adaptation in 1998. All of the figures inspired by the universe of the series each seem to convey a charming sweetness by the wonderful and elaborated costumes that are painted with great detail and bright colors. Some of the more popular characters that are represented as figures are Sakura Kinomoto, Syaoran Li, and Kero. Q Posket Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Sakura Kinomoto

This figure comes in two different color variants, a “Regular Color” and a “Dreamy Color”. Both items show Sakura in a dynamic position and a cute pose, though the Regular Color figure has her in a red dress and a gold crown on top of her head. The Dreamy Color variant, on the other hand, features a light pink dress and a silver crown. Both dresses have black details, white frills, a transparent cape, matching shoes, and a heart motif lining the bottom of each dress. Their crowns also share this motif that matches the color of their respective dresses. Each figure is also based on a chibi-style, giving the figures an added layer of cuteness.

Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Sakura Kinomoto: Hello Brand New World 1/7 Scale Figure

This figure shows Sakura using the “Flight” Clear Card. She smiles as she floats in the air caused by the magic that she invoked. She holds her Dream Wand, which she uses to capture and use Clear Cards. On her light brown hair rests a light blue crown made of sharp, pointy crystals. The dress she wears is mainly white, but has various light blue and gold details, especially around her waist. The bottom of her dress has long, flowing ends that are shaped like bird feathers. There are also butterfly wings on her back that are colored white, blue, gold, and pink. This combination of soft colors gives Sakura a dreamy and angelic appearance. The figure also includes a stand as well, which includes the Flight card itself, as well as several shards of blue crystals and a crescent moon shaped base.

Nendoroid Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Sakura Kinomoto: Tomoeda Junior High Uniform Ver.

This cute, chibi figure shows Sakura dressed in her junior high school uniform. This uniform consists of a black jacket, a white undershirt, a white skirt with a red stripe along the bottom, and a matching white tie. This Nendoroid also includes three different face plates for a variety of different expressions. One shows a cheerful open smile while another shows her blushing with a slight smile. The third expression has her with a flustered expression. This figure also includes her magic wand that she brings out to use her magical cards, an adorable pink teddy bear, and her school bag. Like most Nendoriods, this Sakura figure is also articulated, allowing users to create a variety of different poses inspired by iconic scenes from the anime or manga.

About the Characters

Some of Cardcaptor Sakura’s most recognizable characters include Sakura Kinomoto, the protagonist of the story, and the charismatic Kero. Sakura is a sweet, naive girl that is rather athletic. Her cute, child-like appearance and her charming personality touched the hearts of many fans, which led to her extensive popularity. Kero, on the other hand, is the solar guardian of the Clow Cards. His adorable teddy bear-like appearance and cheerful personality have also led him to become another popular character among fans of Cardcaptor Sakura.

About Cardcaptor Sakura

Cardcaptor Sakura is a Japanese manga that was created by CLAMP, a group of manga artists. An anime adaptation was later made by Madhouse and directed by Morio Asaka. The anime series was first broadcasted on NHK and BS2 in April 1998 and lasted until March 2000. The story follows Sakura Kinomoto, who accidentally discovers strange, magical powers after she releases the incredibly powerful “Clow Cards” into the world. To prevent a terrible tragedy from befalling the world, Kero names Sakura the “Cardcaptor” and tasks her with capturing the Clow Cards that she mistakenly released.
