Eren Yeager Attack on Titan - Figures
The Attack on Titan franchise began as a manga written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. It was first serialized by Kodansha in September 2009 and currently has over thirty volumes published. The series has captivated millions of readers around the world with its endearing characters, intense action scenes, and fascinating mysteries. With such an incredible amount of readership, production companies eventually greenlit an anime adaptation of the manga that was animated by Wit Studio and Productions I.G. in April 2013. This adaptation threw the series as a whole into the spotlight, gaining many new fans in the process. Today, many other types of media inspired by the original manga have been produced, including video games, novels, live-action films, and spin-off series. To keep up with fans’ desire for merchandise, manufacturers were quick to produce a wide range of charms, apparel, and, of course, figures. This is especially true for figures of the protagonist of Attack on Titan, Eren Yeager. Although there are around a dozen of figures that recreate Eren’s likeness, some of the most popular are the “Attack on Titan Eren Yeager: Titan Ver. (Re-run)”, the “Real Action Heroes No. 668 Eren Yeager”, and the “Attack on Titan Eren 1/7 Scale Figure”.

About Eren Yeager
Eren Yeager is the protagonist of Attack on Titan and is often characterized by his hot-headed personality and short temper. From a young age, Eren held an undying grudge against the Titans for keeping them trapped inside the walls of Paradis Island and killing his mother. The night that the Titans breached the walls at the beginning of the series, Eren’s father took Eren aside and injected him with a serum that turned him into a mindless Pure Titan. Due to Pure Titans running on pure instinct, Eren ended up unwittingly devouring his father and obtained both the Attack Titan and Founding Titan abilities in the process. These Titan forms would go unused until many years later after Eren joined the Survey Corps and was in danger of dying in a Titan’s stomach himself. The ability to transform into a Titan was largely unknown to many characters in the series and acted as a catalyst for much of the story that followed.
Other Important Attack on Titan Characters
As a child, Eren grew up with two other characters, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert. Mikasa became Eren’s adoptive sister after he rescued her from being sold off by human traffickers. The two were quite close and would often come to each other’s aid when needed, though Eren was usually the one that found himself in more trouble. Armin is Eren’s best friend and is the main inspiration behind Eren’s desire to see the outside world. After joining the Survey Corps and revealing his Attack Titan form, he meets the Captain of the Special Operations Squad, Levi Ackerman. Since he did not understand the concept of a Titan-shifter, Levi was quite wary of Eren, though he eventually came to terms with this and eventually came to be a mentor figure for Eren.
