Tsunade Senju Naruto - Figures

Naruto is a manga series created by Masashi Kishimoto. The story is about Naruto Uzumaki, whose dream is to become the Hokage. The series was first published in 1999 in Shueisha’s magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump. In 2014 the series concluded with 72 tankobon or volumes. The series is split into two stories. Naruto, which is in his pre-teen years, and Naruto Shippuden, which is in his teen years. The manga was so popular that it was made into an anime series by Pierrot and Aniplex.

Tsunade Senju is a main character that enters late in the Naruto series. Tsunade is the granddaughter of Konoha’s First Hokage. She is known for her superb medical skills, inhuman power, and is a horrible gambler. Tsunade is one of the legendary three Sannin along with Jiraiya and Orochimaru. After losing her boyfriend and her little brother, she gives up the way of a ninja. However, Jiraiya and Naruto convince her to come back to the village and become the 5th Hokage.

About Tsunade Senju

Tsunade is of royal blood from Hashirama (the first Hokage). Hashirama could not contain himself from spoiling his granddaughter so Tsunade got addicted to gambling. Unfortunately, she also has no luck and has gained the nickname, The Sitting Duck. She inherited Hashirama’s necklace, which she passed onto people important to her. Both died in battle. Crushed, Tsunade stepped away from the way of a kunoichi. As a medic Ninja, she tried to save both her love and her little brother, she failed both times. Jiraiya and Naruto succeeded in hunting her down and persuading her to become the Hokage. In convincing her to return to the village, she trusted Naruto with the necklace to prove her wrong.

Other Important Naruto Characters

Sakura Haruno is a member of Team 7 along with Naruto and Sasuke Uchiha led by Kakashi Hatake. Eventually, she became one of the strongest ninjas. When Tsunade comes back to Konoha, Sakura asks Tsunade to train her. Tsunade agreed and passed on to her inhuman power and medical skills. With her help, Sakura can match Naruto and Sasuke. At the end of the series, Sakura’s dreams come true and marries Sasuke.

Jiraiya was one of Konoha’s Sannin along with Tsunade and Orochimaru. They were trained by the Third Hokage as children. After the second Ninja War, Jiraya focused on traveling to write a book series called Icha Icha Tactics. He is known for his pervertedness - Naruto called him Ero-sennin. He is known for his use of senjutsu, taught by toads in Mount Myoboku. There, the Great Sage Toad predicted that Jiraiya would find the chosen one. However, he discovered that the boy from the prophecy is Naruto and trains him.
