Naruto Uzumaki is the eponymous hero of the smash hit manga by Masashi Kishimoto - Naruto! Instantly recognizable thanks to his bright orange outfit, Naruto is a shinobi, or ninja, from the village of Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village) where he is ostracised because of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox (Nine-Tails) sealed inside him.

The original manga and its anime adaptation produced by Studio Pierrot follow Naruto’s adventures as he trains to become the “Hokage” of his village. Forming Team 7 with his friends Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno under the elite ninja Kakashi Hatake, he completes various missions on behalf of the village.

Later training with the legendary ninja Jiraiya, Naruto protects his village from deadly threats such as the criminal organization Akatsuki and eventually proves a crucial asset during the Fourth Great Ninja War.
