Shinra Kusakabe Fire Force - Nendoroid

From the anime Fire Force, we have a Shinra Kusakabe Nendoroid. Shinra is dressed in his Special Fire Force uniform. The uniform has a black base with a thick light blue stripe, a thin white stripe running in the middle, and three silver cross buttons. He also wears black and silver gloves. This Shinra Nendoroid also comes with three faceplates, his serious face, the intense concentration expression, often seen in combat, and his devil-like smile. Other accessories include flame effect parts which can be used on both his hands and feet. Use them along with his Corna and Latom hand signs so you can show him flying.

About Shinra Kusakabe: Background
Shinra is an intelligent and brave character. He aims to be a hero and is always willing to help those in need. However, despite his good intentions, he has been mistaken to be an arrogant devil on numerous occasions. This is due to witnessing his mother's death, where he was seen with a smile on his face that led to many people thinking he was the one who killed his mother. He suffers from nervous laughter and ends up laughing or smiling whenever he is stressed, anxious, angry, or uncomfortable. Despite these misunderstandings, he works hard to be the hero that his mother would have been proud of. He also works hard to uncover the truth about the fire that killed his family.
About Shinra Kusakabe: Abilities
Shinra is one of the strongest characters in the Fire Force. He is mainly seen to use his Third Generation Ignition Ability. Shinra’s Ignition Ability allows him to boost his strength and speed. In particular, it results in his strong kicks, powerful enough to sever limbs or kick tonnes of weights into the air with ease. By using his Ignition Ability through his feet, he can also jump and has control in the air. Due to using his powers through his feet, he often leaves behind ash footprints, earning him the nickname “Devil’s Footprints.”
He has also been taught how to use hand signs by Captain Benimaru to concentrate energy in his body. This gives him more control over the flames the Ignition Ability produces. His control allows him to further boost himself and enables him to fly farther and faster while using less fire. He later learns to manifest explosive flames, which lets him have more weapons to use in combat.
Hysterical Strength is also another ability Shinra can access. This gives him 100% access to his Ignition Ability, while usually, he only has 30% access. Hysterical Strength can only be used if Shinra is under immense death-like stress, which activates his survival instincts, allowing him to use Hysterical Strength. His flames will turn blue when this ability is active, signifying their more substantial power and higher temperature. Due to 100% access to his Ignition Ability, he also becomes significantly stronger and faster.
Shinra also has access to the Adolla Burst, which allows him to use Adolla Grace to become further stronger. When he has the Adolla Grace, he can move at the speed of light, which leads to him overcoming the laws of physics and traveling at insane speeds without permanently affecting him.
Other Important Fire Force Characters
For Shinra, there are two significant people, Akitaru Obi and Mari Kusakabe. These two characters are pivotal to his identity and play a huge role throughout the series.
Akitaru Obi
Akitaru Obi is the captain of Tokyo’s Special Fire Force Company 8. Despite not having powers, he is willing to fight against the Infernals, despite the huge risk it poses. Because of his courageous nature, Shinra looks up to him. Akitaru’s fearless nature, a strong sense of justice, and strong responsibility towards his teammates earn him high respect from Shinra.
Mari Kusakabe
Mari Kusakabe is Shinra’s mother who died in a fire 12 years ago. She was a kind person who encouraged Shinra’s ambition to become a hero. After witnessing her death, Shinra becomes adamant about becoming a hero that his mother would be proud of and help those in need. Her death molds Shinra into the person he is and is a pivotal moment for Shinra. Her death also leads to his “devil’s smile” being formed.
