Disney: Twisted Wonderland - Nendoroid
Disney Twisted-Wonderland is a villains academy type of adventure game. The game takes inspiration from the various Disney Villains, with different houses inspired by a different Disney film. This intriguing concept, combined with its anime-like visuals, led to tremendous interest and hype, with many downloading to try the game out. It has also led to other manga and announcements of an anime adaption. The different characters featured in Twisted Wonderland are also available as cute Nendoroid figures, “Nendoroid Riddle Rosehearts,” “Nendoroid Leona Kingscholar,” and “Nendoroid Azul Ashengrotto.”
Nendoroid Riddle Rosehearts
Riddle Rosehearts, the leader of the Heartslabyul Dormitory, is depicted in a cute miniature form. The figure accurately captures his iconic red colors, vivid red hair, and costume with a white bade with red accent pieces, heavily influenced by the movie “Alice in Wonderland.” He also wears a checked slash, gold hearts on his boots, all an ode to the film that inspires the Heartslabyul Dormitory. Riddle Rosehearts also comes with three faceplates, the classic expression, a smirk, and his angry expression. He also comes with other accessories, including the dormitory leader scepter, a strawberry tart, and a fork.

Nendoroid Leona Kingscholar
The slightly scary-looking leader of the Savanaclaw Dormitory, Leona Kingscholar, is available in a cute Nendoroid form. As he comes from the dorm, inspired by the film “The Lion King,” he is shown with his lion ears out of his dark brown gradient hair. These strikingly contrast his emerald eyes and make his eyes stand out, furthering a cat-like impression. He is accurately shown with a lion mark on this arm. He wears a black rider's vest with a yellow top underneath, a gold necklace, brown trousers, and a yellow scarf and fur tied around his waist. He comes with three faceplates, the standard expression, exasperated expression, and an angry face. Like the other leaders from Twisted Wonderland, he also comes with his dormitory leader specter. Other accessories include his magical pen, magical shift desk, and the sand effect parts.

Nendoroid Azul Ashengrotto
Azul Ashengrotto, the leader of the Octavinelle Dormitory, inspired by “The Little Mermaid,” is shown with his beautiful grey hair, smart-looking glasses, and vivid blue eyes. He wears a black hat with a light blue ribbon and a purple shell for the bow of the ribbon, a black suit with a white shirt and purple bow, and a soft blue stole and jacket on top. He also comes with three face plates, a standard neutral expression, his expression when he wants something from you, and his eye smile. In addition, he comes with his dormitory leader scepter, a cup, a tray, a golden contract, and a sea anemone. His hat, stole and jacket are all removable so that you can recreate your favorite moments from the game.

Twisted Wonderland has seven main houses, with each house having multiple characters the players interact with. For example, we have Riddle Roseheart, the leader of Heartslabyul (house inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.”) He is feared by others due to his strong commitment to uphold the mysterious rules set by the Queen of Hearts and for dealing severe punishment for those who do not follow the rules.
We also meet Leona Kingscholar, the leader of Savanclaw (inspired by “The Lion King.”) He acts very arrogantly to those around him. Despite holding strong powers, he is very lazy and spends his time relaxing.
Another notable leader would be Azul Ashengrotto. He is the leader of Octavinelle (inspired by “The Little Mermaid.”) He manages a cafe in Octavinelle, and while he appears to be kindhearted and helps others in need, his help comes at a price.

Aniplex first announced the game at Anime Japan 2019. The game’s concept, scenario, and character designs were created by the famous Yana Toboso, the creator of Black Butler. Under the title “Disney: Twisted Wonderland,” the game was officially released for Android and iOS Japan on March 18, 2020.

Twisted Wonderland’s captivating concept and amazing visuals led to its huge success, with approximately 1 million downloads when released. An English localized version has been set for release on January 20, 2022. Its popularity has also led to a manga based on Heartslabyul being released. The manga was written by Wakan Hazuki and illustrated by Sumire Kowono. It has also been announced that an anime adaption was in the works and that Disney+ has licensed the anime.
