Misa Amane Death Note - Nendoroid

Death Note is a super popular manga that was released on the 1st of December, 2003 and due to the popularity it gathered, the anime was released on the 3rd of October, 2006. Death Note is a very popular story due to its new and unique storytelling which already showed the readers who the killer was, the protagonist. Out of the many characters introduced Misa Amane would be the main heroine and is the second Kira, another murderer of who the readers also know the identity. Misa has a bright personality and pretty visuals as she is a model. One of the popular Misa Amane items to be released is the “Nendoroid Misa Amane”, this figure shows the cute side of the already pretty character.

Nendoroid Misa Amane

The adorable Nendoroid of Misa shows her in one of her classic black gothic lolita outfits. She wears a black dress with lots of pleats for her skirt. She wears dark grey socks with black boots. Around her neck is a black choker with a detachable silver cross. Her long blonde hair frames her face with two small pigtails on each side as a half-up-do hairstyle. Misa also comes with four different faceplates. There is the standard face where her blue eyes are wide open and she is slightly smiling. Another face shows Misa with her eyes closed as she grins with her teeth showing. Another face shows a comical expression where her eyes are just simple black dots and her mouth is open as though she couldn't understand what just happened. The last expression is of a young maiden in love. Her eyes are slightly closed and her cheeks are pink. Her expressions recreate the look of love she would always give Light. There are also extra optional features to add to the different situations. Misa can hold a black handbag or have a gothic doll by her side. The doll looks very similar to Misa herself with the same hairstyle and a simple black dress. The combination of the extra features plus the different expressions allows the fans to enjoy all sorts of sides of their favorite character.

About Misa Amane

Misa is a very popular and bubbly model and is popular enough to appear in a magazine. She acts very cheerful but can act very heartless at times. Easily killing off news reporters who had bad-mouthed Kira and police officers who were obstructing her plans. Misa does try to plan and think ahead. She made sure to remove any fingerprints and instead used her friend’s fingerprint to take the blame off herself showing how she can act merciless and use other people for her goals. Although she does try to plan to make sure she isn’t caught, in the end, she leaves some evidence behind and ends up getting caught. Her dedication and love towards Light are so great that she can withstand a lot of things but also makes her quite blind. She doesn’t realize when Light makes use of her feelings and tricks her and persuades her into endangering her life.

About Misa Amane: Background

Misa grew up in a loving family with an older sister however due to an unfortunate event her parents were both killed. The criminal was then killed by Kira, in other words, Light Yagami which caused her to start thinking of Kira very highly. She at first only wanted to help Kira by killing other criminals but as soon as she saw Light’s handsome face she fell in love. Due to her deep and almost obsessive love and admiration of Kira, she would do anything for Light and was even able to withstand torture. She would even sacrifice half of her lifespan for Light as he was able to make use of her love for him to make her trade her eyes for death god’s eyes.

About Misa Amane: Abilities

Misa was given a death note by a death god giving her the ability to kill anyone by writing their name. She then exchanged half of her lifespan to gain the eyes of a death god meaning she can see the names and lifespans of every person she sees. As long as she can see the majority of the other person’s face then the name will appear above their head. She can also see the lifespan of the humans as well but she isn’t able to understand the meaning.

Other Important Death Note Characters

Misa is the main heroine in the series and is a well-known person in the series, she loves Light a lot and follows him around, and tries to get his attention. Misa also interacts with L without knowing his true identity and is quite friendly towards him.

Light Yagami

Since Kira killed the criminal who murdered her parents she feels a lot of admiration towards Kira. When she finds out that Light Yagami is Kira she falls in love and wishes to help him in any way possible. Her love for Light is so deep that she easily forgives him and agrees with all his actions even when he kills many people. However, Light doesn’t love Misa and thinks of her as a hindrance but also someone he can use as a chess piece.

L

L strongly suspects Misa of being the second Kira and kidnaps her and tortures her. Misa forgets all of her memories about being the second Kira and merely thinks of L and a perverted kidnapper. L tried to act kindly and friendly to gain information from her, however, Misa doesn’t know the true identity of L and merely thinks of him as a bizarre fan.
