Apex Legends took the gaming world by storm at its release back in early 2019. This super fun battle royale game is free-to-play, featuring first-person shooter gameplay with a series of characters to choose from. About Lifeline

Lifeline is one of the first of eight different playable characters that were available on release of Apex Legends. She is one of six characters that are unlocked at the start of the game. Here is a brief overview of the character.

Background

Lifeline, otherwise known by her real name, Ajay Che, is not a person you would expect to find on the battlefield. She was born into wealth, having been raised by profiteers of war. When she learned how her family had contributed to the harsh realities of war, she felt compelled to leave home. She then enlisted in the Frontier Corps, which is an organization that provides aid to those on the battlefield. The persona that she puts on for others is aloof and sarcastic, but that is only to protect herself. She has a deep-seated desire to help others, no matter who they are or what side they are on. She knows that on the battlefield nobody is truly innocent, but that doesn’t mean that they are undeserving of help. Her desire to make the world a better place runs deep, often putting herself at risk for the greater good.

Special Abilities

Lifeline is a Combat Medic. She has a wide range of abilities, most of which concentrate on providing aid to those around her. She can use her D.O.C (Drone of Compassion), Heal Drone, in order to heal those around her. Lifeline is also able to revive teammates who have been downed in combat. She deploys a D.O.C, which provides her with a shield while reviving her teammate. One of her most important abilities is her Ultimate, the Care Package. This ability allows her to call in a drop pod with 3 high-quality attachments, consumables, or gear for her and her teammates to use.

Octane

Octane is known as a High-Speed Daredevil. He is a playable character in Apex Legends from Season 1. He was not available on release but teased with many different elements seen throughout gameplay. He must be unlocked before becoming playable. Those who enjoy fast-paced gameplay will most certainly enjoy playing as Octane. He is an Offensive Legend Type with the ability to cover large distances in a flash and deal out a lot of damage. He is also able to heal himself, making him quite a formidable enemy on the battlefield. He has bionic legs, which were actually created by Lifeline. He also has the same home planet as Lifeline, Psamathe.

Wraith

Wraith, otherwise known as Renee H. Blasey, is known as an Interdimensional Skirmisher. Like Lifeline, she is free and unlocked with the base game of Apex Legends. She is both swift and deadly, making her a highly formidable opponent. Wraith can reposition and flank with ease with her abilities, giving her many advantages on the battlefield. She is even able to become invincible when her ability Dimensional Rift is activated. She has control over the very fabric of reality, being able to manipulate space and see many different realities. These abilities make her great for players who want fast-paced gameplay with a lot of variety to play with.
