OtapediaNero Devil May Cry - Figures

Devil May Cry is a video game series created by Hideki Kamiya and published by Capcom. It is an action-adventure video game that focuses on a stylistic approach to combat, in which players string together attacks for combos. Players receive a letter grade from D to SSS to indicate their performance level with stringing together long combos when fighting enemies. The story focuses on Dante, who is a demon hunter who seeks to stop demons from invading the Earth. His nephew, Nero, is also a very important character within the story. He is one of the main protagonists in Devil May Cry 4 as well as Devil May Cry 5. His personality is quite different from Dante’s, being more serious and antisocial than his laid-back uncle. There are many great figures of Nero available, including the “Cutie1 Devil May Cry 5 Nero”.

Cutie1 Devil May Cry 5 Nero Figure

About Nero

Nero made his first appearance as a playable character in Devil May Cry 4, with his most recent appearance being in Devil May Cry 5. In both of these games, he is one of the main protagonists alongside his uncle, Dante. Here is some more information about Nero.

Background

Nero was raised in Fortuna, an isolated island that is the homeland of the Order of the Sword, which worships Sparda. In Devil May Cry 4, Nero is forced to fight against the Order after discovering their plans to take over the world. He fights alongside Dante, who serves as a role as his mentor, as they fight against this evil. Later, in Devil May Cry 5, Nero has become a demon hunter who runs a mobile operation of the “Devil May Cry” business. One day, a mysterious figure appears and severs his right arm, the Devil Bringer. In order to find out what happened, he fights off an alien invasion that mysteriously appears, fighting alongside Dante again as well as others. Nero’s appearance changes between both games, with his first appearance in Devil May Cry 4 showing him with medium-length white hair. His most recent appearance, Devil May Cry 5, shows him with shorter white hair to give a more defined difference between Nero and Dante.

Special Abilities

Nero possesses demonic powers due to his heritage. In Devil May Cry 4, he acquires the Yamato as well as the ability to use Devil Trigger. For this ability, a blue demon appears behind him wielding the Yamato. This spectral demon mimics the movements of Nero, enabling them to take down their enemies easily. In Devil May Cry 5, Vergil severs Nero’s arm, taking the Devil Trigger ability away from him. However, at the end of the game, Nero manifests his own power, awakening his own Devil Trigger. Aside from his demonic powers, Nero also uses a sword called the Red Queen, as well as many different deadly prosthetics made for his arm by Nico.

Other Important Devil May Cry Characters

Nero’s role in the Devil May Cry series is very important, but he didn’t make an appearance until Devil May Cry 4. Before his appearance, the focal point of the story surrounded other characters, whose stories and motives have had a great deal of impact. Here are two more characters that have been important to the series.

Dante

Dante is the main character of the Devil May Cry series. He is the second son of Sparda, a demon, and Eva, a human. He is only preceded by Vergil, who is his twin brother. Dante is also Nero’s uncle. Dante has access to a series of demonic powers, and he uses them to his advantage in order to eradicate demons from the Earth. He is a jack of many trades, being a paranormal mercenary, devil hunter, and private investigator for all things demonic. He is always drawn to these instances because he is constantly in pursuit of those who took his brother away from him and killed his mother.

Vergil

Vergil is the main antagonist of the Devil May Cry series. He is also the father of Nero, as well as the first son of Sparda and Eva. After the death of their mother, Vergil and Dante went separate ways. While Dante became a part of humanity, Vergil embraced his demonic heritage, seeking to gain the demonic powers of his father, Sparda. Vergil and Dante constantly fight against one another, unable to see eye to eye about their differences. Vergil’s personality differs greatly from Dante’s. While Dante is more carefree and flippant, Vergil is cunning and calculating, with an almost menacing aura about him. He is fearless and often emotionless, always keeping his emotions in check.
