About Mash Kyrielight

Mash Kyrielight is known as Shielder in the Fate/Grand Order game. She is a servant that was contracted with Ritsuka Fujimaru, who is the player character of the video game. Mash serves to assist with the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order. Here is some more information about the character.

Background

Mash is a Demi-Servant human, which is a human that has been created to be used as a vessel for a Heroic Spirit and has taken the Saint Graphs of their intended host. Her sole purpose was to be the host of her Heroic Spirit, so she was genetically engineered under the orders of Marisbury Animusphere. When Mash had a spirit bound to her the experiment was successful, but it did not awaken within her. After the second attempt, the project was deemed a failure, with Mash being left to the care of Chaldea. From this point, her life expectancy was set from birth, only destined to live 18 years. Unfortunately, Mash had already lived 16 years and was left to determine what the last two years would hold.

Special Abilities

Mash is a product of genetic engineering, so she has more physical capabilities than the average human. However, she was not built to last, as she was only meant to be a vessel for a Heroic Spirit. Mash uses a cross-shaped shield that is larger than her in battle, as well as a sword. When she discovers the Heroic Spirit that she is hosting, she is able to use her defensive Noble Phantasm to the best of its ability.
