The series started off as a raising simulation and a rhythm video game created by Bandai Namco Entertainment and has since evolved to contain many other forms of media. Iori Minase is one of the original idols in The Idolmaster, making her first appearance in the arcade version of the game THE iDOL M@STER. About Iori Minase
Iori Minase is among the original idols from 765 Production that made an appearance in the arcade game THE iDOLM@STER. Since the original game, Iori has had a prominent appearance in many games and other forms of media. Here is some more information about her.
Background
Iori Minase was born into a rich family. She is the daughter of a corporate CEO who is familiar with the president of 765 Productions, giving her passing rights into the studio. Iori is known by fellow idols as “The little-devil idol” for her sharp tongue and short temper. Despite her sharp temper, she is fond of soft and cute things, often carrying around a bunny doll that she affectionately calls “Usa-chan”. Iori does indeed have a soft and kind side, but she often hides it out of fear of showing weakness or embarrassing herself.
Special Abilities
In terms of abilities, Iori Minase has varying capabilities of an idol star. She is a good dancer, able to captivate viewers with visual flare. She is a good singer, but much of Iori’s skill is centered around visuals and drawing the eyes of others to her. She is kind towards her fans, but she is snappy and judgemental towards the people she works with, making her difficult to work with.

Chihaya is one of the original idols from 765 Production alongside Iori. She made her debut appearance in the arcade version of the game THE iDOLM@STER, and has since been featured in many different installments of the series. She is a gifted vocalist and really doesn’t care much for anything that doesn’t involve singing, including interacting with others. Because of this, she is often viewed as cold and heartless. However, she cares for others a great deal but struggles to show it.
