Mad Moxxi is one of the most promiscuous characters in the Borderlands series. She’s provocative, sassy, and has had numerous husbands and romances as a result of her lustful yet opportunistic nature. Due to her sometimes motherly and caring attitude, along with her intimidating character persona, Mad Moxxi has garnered a cult-like following. About Mad Moxxi
Mad Moxxi is a seductive and sometimes motherly character of the Borderlands game series. She is the owner of several bars and created the Underdome. She was once a notable fighter and often tries to conceal her southern accent.
Background
Mad Moxxi is a non-player character in Borderlands. She plays a prominent role in the overall storyline for a character that's non-playable. She’s initially known as the wife of a popular clan leader, Jimbo Hodunk of the Hodunk clan. She flees the clan just before they attempt to recruit her daughter as a clan wife. Her sadistic and lustful character is portrayed throughout the series as she is usually in search of a new husband, after three failed marriages as of Borderlands 3. She set up a fighting headquarters and bars in which she is the hostess to lure fighters, with herself being the ultimate prize. She has two children, Ellie her daughter, and Scooter her son, both of whom appear throughout the Borderlands game series. Mad Moxxi eventually helps recruit the Vault Hunters, which is one of her more notorious roles in the series.
Special Abilities
As a bartender, Moxxi prizes players two guns whenever her tip jar reaches a certain threshold. The two guns she gives, The Good Touch, and The Bad Touch, are useful in the game. Throughout the series, numerous weapons are inspired by Moxxi, which heals players of damage done during battle.

Mad Moxxi is connected to many characters throughout the series, such as those from her spousal relationships to her affiliation with the Vault Hunters. Other prominent characters include the Borderlands Psycho class characters, Jimbo Hudunk and Handsome Jack. Although many of the prominent characters are non-player characters in the series, they are an integral part of the Borderlands storyline.
Psycho
Borderlands Psycho class characters are bandits that inhabit Pandora. The Borderlands Psycho class characters were originally mine workers who were mysteriously affected and mutated following a secret discovery at a mine site. The characters are seen as violent and psychotically attack their opponents in the series. There are numerous types of Psychos, including the burning Psycho, and the midget Psycho.
Jimbo Hodunk
Jumbo Hodunk is one of the clan leaders of the Hodunk Clan, who resides along the Hodunk Speedway. Mad Moxxi was a clan wife and married to Jimbo Hodunk before she exited the clan. Jumbo Hodunk makes numerous appearances in the Borderlands series, along with Tector, another leader of the Hodunk clan.
Mordecai
Mordecai is a playable character in Borderlands and a non-player character in Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands, and Borderlands 3. Furthermore, Mordecai is one of the main members of the Crimson Raiders, a group of rebellion ex-soldiers. Mordecai is the second husband of Mad Moxxi and is notable for winning the prize from Moxxi's Underdome.
Marcus Kincaid
Marcus Kincaid is the third husband of Mad Moxxi. He is a non-player character in the series and an arms dealer. Marcus is portrayed as having a heavy build in the series and attributes his weight to Mad Moxxi suggesting that he'd look weak and prone to underestimation by people if he were slim.
Handsome Jack
Handsome Jack is a main antagonist in the Borderlands series and amasses a lot of power when he becomes dictator of Pandora, a mysterious planet in the series. Due to an abusive childhood, Jack grows up with a manipulative personality as seen when he attempts to take all the power in the vaults in the series. Moreover, he has used holograms to manipulate guests that visit his casino. Throughout the game series, Jack seeks revenge against the Vault Hunters and has a relationship with Mad Moxxi, which ends in a bad breakup. Mad Moxxi eventually tries to seek revenge for Jack's destruction of her Underdome.
