About Sol Badguy
Sol Badguy is the main protagonist of the Guilty Gear Xrd sub-series. Sol’s real name is Frederick Bulsara, a name taken from the British Singer Freddie Mercury. Freddie Mercury was nicknamed “Mr. Bad Guy”, which is how Guilty Gear’s creator Daisuke Ishiwatari got the inspiration for Sol Badguy. The protagonist in the series was originally a member of the holy order, a special military team that was organized to fight the Gears, which are magical and destructive creatures that were mistakenly created. Interestingly, Sol eventually becomes a gear himself and uses a headband to tame his Gear-like power. Sol Badguy eventually becomes a bounty hunter and hunts Gears throughout the series. Background
Sol Badguy is a fierce bounty hunter, an ex-crusader, and the main protagonist of the Guilty Gear Xrd sub-series. In the Guilty Gear Xrd series, the character hunts evil Gears, which are accidentally-created magical creatures that are destructive to humankind. Throughout the game series, the character has a rival, named Ky Kiske who he defeats numerous times and whom Sol believes is holding back during battles. Sol Badguy falls in love with Aria Hale, who eventually gets turned into a Gear by That Man after a scientific experiment goes wrong. Aria Hale, now a Gear named Justice, becomes the leader of all Gears. Sol Badguy has a lazy fighting style but has a powerful weapon called the Outrage, which is specifically designed to target Gears. In Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN Sol Badguy hunts down Ramlethal Valentine, a character who initially attempts to destroy humanity. Eventually Ramlethal allies herself with Sol, and reveals that Justice will be awakened. Sol, Dizzy, Ky, Leo, and Sin team up to stop Conclave, a group of sages that control the United Nations and who plan to revive head Gear leader Justice. In Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR, it's speculated that Sol Badguy is Dizzy's father. Eventually, Ky Kiske defeats Sol Badguy in a battle after much provocation, albeit through deceptive tactics.
Special Abilities
Sol Badguy is considered a lazy fighter, however, he has a powerful arsenal of weapons that he uses during battles. In Xrd, Sol Badguy is often seen using his main weapon, a sword called Fireseal or "Blazer". The blade of the sword is capable of igniting fire upon striking an opponent. Furthermore, he's able to defeat his opponent by using Junkyard Dog, Fireseal, Junkyard Dog MK II, Junkyard Dog MK III, and Outrage MK II.

Aria Hale
Aria Hale is one of the main characters in Guilty Gear Xrd. She was initially a researcher of the Gear Project and was romantically involved with Sol Badguy or Frederick Bulsara. She has a cheerful personality and is often portrayed as being very much attentive to her research work. She became ill after researching Gears. Aria was cryo-frozen and parts of her turned into Justice by the lead researcher, That Man. Aria, now Justice, eventually forgets her human experience and attempts to destroy humanity. Finally, That Man managed to salvage Arias's memories to create a new version of Aria.
Dizzy
Dizzy is Justice's daughter. It's speculated that Sol Badguy is her father due to Sol and Aria's relationship before Aria being cryo-frozen. Throughout the series, Dizzy is portrayed as innocent and is half-gear.
