Fate/stay night is a Japanese visual novel series that was developed by Type-Moon. Its initial release was back in January of 2004 for Windows. Since the initial release, it has received many adaptations such as video games, manga, anime, and many more. Fate/stay night’s gameplay is mostly centered around reading text dialogue between characters, narration, or the thoughts of the protagonist themselves. The story surrounds Shirou Emiya, a teenager who accidentally gets thrown directly into the “Holy Grail War”. Saber is an important character in Fate/stay night. About Saber

Saber is one of three main heroines featured in Fate/stay night. She is a Saber-class servant who serves Shirou Emiya during the Fifth Holy Grail War. Here is some brief background information about her character.

Background

Saber, otherwise known as Arthur Pendragon and King Arthur, is an important character in the series. While regarded as male in history, Fate/stay night regards this character as Artoria Pendragon, a female. She was born into a time of war and chaos, later becoming the “Once and Future King”. She is very strong-willed and dedicated, and she won’t hesitate to speak her mind. Saber is courageous and determined to fight and win the Holy Grail.

Special Abilities

Saber is highly skilled with her sword. She is nearly unmatched on the battlefield, being able to disarm even the most formidable enemies. Saber has an innate instinct for battle, able to quickly determine the best possible course of action during combat. She also has a series of Noble Phantasms. Invisible Air, her very first Noble Phantasm, allows her to conceal her sword. She can also wield Excalibur, allowing her to deal a deadly amount of damage.
