OtapediaSkull Tropper Fortnite - Figures

Of Fortnite’s seemingly endless line of skins, nothing enjoys the same level of fandom fame as Skull Trooper. As one of the oldest skins in the game, Skull Trooper shows off a player's clout--especially if they have the purple glow edit. Skull Trooper figures show off the design's creepy qualities in a cute, mini package, as seen in "Pop! Games: Fortnite - Skull Trooper."

Pop! Games: Fortnite - Skull Trooper Figure

Skull Trooper gets a deceptively adorable chibi form in this figure from Funko. The figure showcases Skull Trooper's base white form, complete with clothing detail on his military-style suit. His heavy boots feature carved shoelaces and grooved soles, showing the attention to detail present even in a smaller figure. His hellish grin peeks out from the white hood enveloping his head, giving the smooth effect of an exposed skull. Accessories include his signature scythe, equipped and ready to slash. Notably, the figure includes his set of dog tags hanging from his neck, obscuring the painted rib cage.

About Skull Trooper

Skull Trooper is one of the oldest Epic Outfits, or "skins," in Fornite, released as part of the 2017 Halloween season. Players deemed Skull Trooper one of the rarest skins in the game until 2019. Occasionally, Skull Trooper appears in the Item Store in the daily carousel or as part of Halloween events for 1500 vbucks.

Background

Skull Trooper's base appearance features a black military suit with a painted white skeleton. Currently, players can choose from three or four style options depending on when they bought the skin. In addition to the basic white, the skeleton paint comes in a ghastly green. Players who purchased the skin during its initial 2017 release also have access to the coveted rare purple glow skeleton style. In the 11.10 patch, Skull Trooper received an inverted color scheme style option, with a white military outfit and painted black skeleton. By completing the Chapter 1 Season 6 Skull Trooper Challenges, players could unlock the Ghost Portal Back Bling to complete the outfit.

Other Important Fortnite Characters

Players rank Fortnite's roughly 800 skins based on rarity, appearance, and clout. Here are some of the most talked-about and interesting skins aside from Skull Trooper.

Storm Familiars: Taro and Nara

Taro and Nara are the male and female outfits, respectively, from the Storm Familiars Cosmetics set. Quietly released in the prelude to Chapter 1 Season 7, the two became unlikely favorites among the fandom. Particularly, Taro enjoys a thriving fandom. His animalistic design calls back to his description: "protector of the wilds." Fans especially like his long, branch-like horns jutting out from his simple and angular mask. Nara's design complements Taro's by using the same color scheme and blue flame motif. However, her design uses smoother lines, evoking a mystical aura fitting her title as "messenger of the spirits." Both skins come with unique back bling and match the Flying Carp glider and Gatekeeper pickaxe.

Black Knight

Black Knight is a Legendary Outfit awarded after completing Tier 70 in the Chapter 1 Season 2 Battle Pass. Due to Black Knight's rarity, owning it reflects a player's dedication to the game and veteran-level experience. Chapter 1 Season 10's Ultima Knight uses Black Knight as a model, featuring armor upgrades and a golden appearance. However, fans still prefer the original's exclusivity and darker design. The item shop offers Black Knight's female outfit counterpart, Red Knight, on occasional rotation. Black Knight comes with the Black Shield back bling and pairs with the rest of the Fort Knights set.

Calamity

Calamity is the female Legendary outfit from the Western Wilds set. The name references American frontierswoman Calamity Jane. Players could obtain her by completing Tier 1 of the Chapter 1 Season 6 Battle Pass. Calamity's first stage features a white tank top, cut-off jean shorts, accenting kerchiefs, and her hat. As the player progresses through the Calamity Challenges, she gains a progressively menacing form with her face covered and armed with ammunition. Her final form includes a glowing aura matching the color set by the player's preference.

Kit

Kit is an Epic outfit obtained by completing level 60 in the Chapter 2 Season 3 Battle Pass. Kit's slogan "proudly following in his father's pawprints" makes him the only Fortnite skin with a referenced parent. An advertisement for parental controls confirmed Meowscles as Kit's father. Kit's design comes with two variations. The Happy edit style follows an angel theme with bright colors and sparkly eyes, like his father's Ghost theme. The Action edit style uses a shadow theme mirroring Meowscles' Shadow edit. Kit's mecha suit has reactive features, such as the headlight activating at night.
