BlazBlue is a Japanese video game series that saw its first publication back in 2008 by Arc System Works. It is a fighting video game series, centered around one-on-one combat between two characters until one is declared the winner. The first game released, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, was initially released as an arcade game. The arcade release and subsequent games have been very popular, with more than 1.7 million games sold as of August 2012. Noel Vermillion is a playable character in the series, making her first appearance in the first game and appearing in each game thereafter. Her popularity has led to the creation of many figures! This 1/7 scale figure of Noel Vermillion was manufactured by Vertex and stands at approximately 9.4” tall. She is absolutely stunning, sculpted to perfection with great detail! Noel is posed while unsheathing her deadly Bolverk guns, ready to deal out some major damage to her opponent. There is so much motion conveyed in this piece, from the flow of her hair to the pleats of her skirt. The colors are also quite vibrant, with the golden yellow of her hair contrasting beautifully with her outfit. Her shirt hugs her skin nicely, perfectly sculpted to her form. BlazBlue Noel Vermillion: Old Costume Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure

This figure of Noel Vermillion shows her in the costume that she wears in the original video game series. About Noel Vermillion

Noel can be easily described as the “shrinking violet” archetype. She is one of many playable characters featured throughout the BlazBlue video game series, as well as many other forms of media dedicated to the series. She is a protagonist of the story, her appearance changing often over time. Here is some more information about her.

Background

Noel is a very pretty young girl who is thin-framed and short in stature. She has long blonde hair that extends down her back and bangs that cover her forehead. She also has striking green eyes and wears a Control Organization blue cloak with a hood, as well as thigh-high black socks and blue combat boots. Behind her back are two large, red gun holsters for her Bolverk guns. Noel is very shy and quite clumsy, often being highly self-conscious. She tends to dwell on the little things, anxious about the world around her. Despite this, she is quite formidable in battle. She is passionate and determined to win, no matter the cost. Her soft personality shines through, with her showing compassion for others constantly.

Special Abilities

Noel is a professional gunslinger. She wields dual Bolverk guns with finesse along with her Drive, Chain Revolver. Noel also has an Overdrive, known as Chain Quasar. Because of this, she is quite strong when armed with her Bolverk guns, but disarming her can leave her quite defenseless.

Hazama Honoka

Hazama Honoka is an antagonist featured in many different forms of media throughout the BlazBlue series. He has a similar appearance to that of Yuki Terumi, whom he was created to be a vessel for. Despite his purpose, he actually has his own thoughts, beliefs, and motivations. He has short green hair that is often covered with a fedora, and he wears a suit. Hazama’s personality is perfect for his role as an antagonist, often being very manipulative and conniving.
