OtapediaJustice League - Action Figures

One of the most powerful forces in comic history is the Justice League. Made of some of the most powerful superheroes and heroines in comic history. Comprising men like Superman and the Flash, even having plenty of female superheroes like Superwoman and the Black Canary. With the new movie Justice League bringing attention back to the famed group, they were originally released in 1960. With these powerful superbeings rarely drawn together, they have become popular idols on their own. That however doesn’t mean that they aren’t a team, and getting figures that display their unity are rare, making them extremely collectible! The Justice League Series Story

Forming from four different heroes, they managed to scrape together seven heroes to fight the invasion of Earth from Darkseid. Eventually defeating Darkseid and throwing him back to his world, they were world-wide heroes and were dubbed the Justice League. The only issue was how they would continue, read more to find out!

Series Overview

Starting with Batman realizing that an invasion of Earth was imminent, he scrambled to find help. He first went to the Green Lantern, who joined after realizing Batman wasn’t there to fight him. After they joined forces, they went straight for Superman, who believed that they were both going after him, and then they fought. Batman and Green Lantern then reached out to the Flash to help them, and after one of Darkseid’s boxes exploded. It wasn’t a regular explosion though, as it released parademons into the world, revealing that they needed to work together. From there Aquaman joined them as his world was also under attack. At the time of the first explosion, Cyborg’s human body was blown up by another one of Darkseid’s boxes, and his father was resurrecting him as Cyborg. After that, they headed out to defeat Darkseid and became the Justice League.

Series Characters

The main characters are the forming members who originally beat Darkseid. That would be Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Green Lantern, Aquaman, the Flash, and Cyborg. These characters all differ in terms of power, but together are the most powerful force in DC Comics!

The Justice League Series Development

The Justice League still has movies being made about them, although another live-action attempt hasn’t been made by DC. Many of the movies have been switched to cartoon movies. However, the main characters of the Justice League are having more live-action movies made about them, with mixed success. Even with mixed-success, there isn’t a person alive who doesn’t know of the Justice League.

Series Production

Thanks are certainly in order to Mr. Gardner Fox, the creator of the Justice League. Mr. Fox was a publisher for DC Comics in the 1960s, which is when the Justice League was created. While the other characters had already been created, it was Mr. Fox who put them together. That is where he created a masterpiece to last around 60 years and counting.

Series Reception

Undoubtedly, the Justice League comics have fared far better than the live-action remake in 2017. Receiving mixed reviews at best, the remake was pretty much shot down, making it very doubtful for a sequel. On the other hand, the comics are the singular reason the Justice League has even soared to the heights that it sits on! Being a literal comic legend, each one of the Justice League comics is rated at either 4 or five stars. If proof was ever needed to back up this claim, why hasn’t there been another live-action remake? While almost every year there is another cartoon movie made about the Justice League.
